A wonderful family lunch at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Jakarta. We ordered their signature porterhouse steak for sharing, and it truly lived up to the reputation. The steak was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, juicy, and full of rich beef flavor. The generous portion was perfect for sharing with family, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The elegant atmosphere, beautiful city view, and attentive service made the experience feel special from start to finish. A great place for family gatherings, celebrations, or simply enjoying a premium steak in Jakarta. Highly recommended for steak lovers.

Wolfgang Steakhouse, an American style steak restaurant backed by a big name was the destination for a Sunday lunch. Have had my fair share of American steakhouse experiences, so I had high expectations for this place. Reservations were easy and quick, made on the same day. The ambience resembles an old school fine dining establishment - lots of wooden decor and cozy lighting, with views overlooking the Jakarta business district, surrounded by skyscrapers. This would be a good place for a quiet date or a business meeting - no ambient music in the background. The staff and service were great. Everyone was attentive and made sure to check up on how everything was tasting. Started off with the soup of the day which was a beef barley soup. Nothing special, but was okay. Ordered the Porterhouse for 2 with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach sides. This steak is very similar to a NY Peter Luger type steak, prepared with a high heat sear to create a nice crust and finished in a hot broiler, drizzled in a butter sauce. Steak comes on a piping hot plate, pre-cut into slices separating the two cuts of the Porterhouse. Overall, the steak was flavorful, juicy and tender but I prefer steaks with more of that charcoal touch - nevertheless still enjoyable. Didn’t order any complimentary sauces, but perhaps I shall try these next time. The sides were also tasty and were good compliments to the steak. Overall - an enjoyable lunch experience in a nice atmosphere with top class service, but for a very expensive price tag, I would have wished for a bigger x-factor on the food, especially the steak. Was too full to try the desserts (of which I heard good things about), but will definitely make sure to have a taste of these next time.

We visited for my husband’s birthday, but it was a huge disappointment. The quality of the steak was terrible — dry, and completely lacking any juiciness. It was honestly shocking for a steakhouse with this reputation. I truly do not want other customers to have the same experience we had. I do not recommend visiting Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Jakarta.

Amazing steakhouse!! The staff and service was perfect! Fantastic steaks and a great wine selection. It's a little expensive but you will definitely get the experience you pay for. Amazing views of the city.
