Went out for a family lunch. All the food we ordered were really good no complaints there. However the service could definitely be improved. One the set of cutlery given to me was dirty, ask for a replacement. However that same exact dirty fork was given back to me by another staff. Which means they did not put dirty cutlery for washing but put it back in the clean sections. The fried chicken we ordered took 1 hour to arrive. Initially they said it could take 30 mins. We understand that frying the whole chicken could take time, but 1 hour for a dish was too much imo.

Late lunch during the Independence Day holiday around 1.30pm. Only three tables including us occupying the restaurant and we were the only table with 2 people, the other two tables were single guests. We tried the Reuben pastrami sandwich, and lobster Mac and cheese, with a pot of hot tea. The much talked about Reuben sandwich was really good, the pastrami was juicy, stacked, and not too salty or peppery. The Russian dressing was on point, nicely blending with pickles which are not too sour for me. Only feedback from me was the rye bread was on the thin side and the bottom side got soggy fast. The lobster Mac and cheese was good on the surface. The cheese pull was immense to the point it’s quite annoying. But the one drawback was there’s a thin soup below the Mac and cheese making me question whether it’s meant to be that thin on texture and consistency. But the dish tasted good and I found good chunks of lobster bits inside. Given the slow afternoon, service was just okay, nothing great really because they’re well staffed compared to the number of diners. The atmosphere was rather bleak to me, the ac was cold and there’s a really strong draft in the middle of the row and it became uncomfortable for our table. It was also quite dark and created a gloomy mood that I wish could be improved with lighting and music choice to lift up the mood.

I stopped by Astha Mall on Saturday and decided to try Patty & Sons after hearing some recommendations. I arrived around 6–7 PM and was surprised that my table was the only one occupied — even until I left, no other guests came in. It seems like purchasing power is still quite weak at the moment, although the food court upstairs was noticeably busier. From the dishes I ordered, the Crab Cake and Hot Pastrami Reuben Sandwich were I enjoyed the most. The other items were just okay. Additional note: the bacon on the Caesar Salad was quite thick and chewy, which didn’t match my preference. Hopefully the economy improves and the restaurant becomes livelier. I also suspect that this place might be busier on weekdays, since Astha Mall is surrounded by several office towers. On weekends, people probably prefer larger malls like Grand Indonesia or Plaza Indonesia.

Tried Patty & Sons for dinner and had a pretty good experience overall. The burgers were tasty and well-prepared, and the atmosphere had a nice, casual vibe—great for hanging out with friends. The only downside was the service, which felt a bit rushed and not very attentive. Still, the food and setting made up for it

Went here with a friend. It was quite fancy to where I used to visit. I ordered the beef pastrami and the taste exceeds my expectation. It’s just the beef pastrami portion is too big for a person so I recommend you to share with your date. The beef burger is also really good, though I will still choose the signature beef pastrami. The cinnamon tea is exquisite ✨ Everything seems so good and perfect, including the ambience and the service 👌🏻
