Came here because of the high reviews and it did not disappoint. The food was very flavourful. Would say best is the salad (had a unique beef taste) and fish (melted in my mouth!!). Drinks also had strong alcohol taste, hot chocolate was genuinely chocolatey. The bread was fresh and fragrant as well. Mashed potatoes could have been better. But all in all, it was a wonderful experience!

Nonna Bona is located on UG floor of Astha District 8. We ordered: Mozarella stick Pizza Salsicciotta No cream carbonara Linguine seafood Rigatoni amatriciana Ice tea The homemade pastas were al dente & well seasoned. Everything was delicious. The ambiance was nice and the interior decorated beautifully. The service was great, too.

This place is perfect for dinner, especially if you’re looking for a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The ambience is warm with great lighting, making it ideal for conversations or a quiet evening. The food was delicious and well-presented. The flavors were consistent, and the portion sizes were just right. The service was also friendly and efficient. Overall, highly recommended for a dinner date or a casual gathering with friends and family.

We came here because we wanted to watch a movie upstairs and needed to have dinner before. The restaurant left me unimpressed. No matter how much you are sitting in a fancy mall with elevated prices, you are still being served mall food. Nonna Bona felt like an industrial operation, serving standardized dishes in high volume but without any sign of the love of good food or cooking from the heart. It gives off plastic and Mickey Mouse-like vibes. Has your staff even tried the food you are cooking so they can speak with authority about your menu? I doubt it very much. To be sure, the food is not bad. After our first three (!) choices were not available (it was barely 7pm), we settled for a couple of fried snacks (mozza sticks and chicken tenders) and then a couple of pastas (lasagna and angel hair with tiger prawns). Nothing was bad, but nothing was really memorable either. It tasted like an industrial kitchen and it may as well have been a good business class meal on board one of the better airlines. But all of that falls far short of some of the raving reviews I read in here. There is very little authentic Italian about anything on this menu and if you wanted to convince any Italian that it is, he would probably slap you in the face. This is clearly a case of one of Indonesia's culinary groups deciding that they still need an Italian restaurant in their portfolio. The result is clean and sterile, but entirely soulless. The restaurant is full not because of the magnificent culinary offerings but rather because of the comprehensive marketing operation that is behind it on social media. That is perfectly fine, but please do not claim that customers come here exceptional Italian cuisine. If you want real Italian food, then go to a real Italian restaurant. There are quite a couple of those in town these days. You may not be dining in the sophisticated surroundings of the fancy Ashta mall, but you will be eating truly authentic Italian food.

Had a wonderful dining experience at this Italian restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was excellent. My kids absolutely loved the pizza, and the cream-free carbonara pasta was incredibly tasty. They also have amazing gelato to complete the meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Italian food and a cozy dining experience!
