Location inside Grandlucky Mall of Indonesia. Selling ala french style bakery n cakes. Bought the praline, lemon tart meringue, canele, almond croissant, toast with mozzarella n raspberry financier. All are quite nice except for the canele n toast. Canele has very thick skin n is even hard to cut with, toast was really cheesy for me. Praline has a mix of bitter n sweet taste of chocolate, croissant quite nice n has a fluffy effect, financier n lemon meringue was my favourite, it has a balance of sweetness n acidity.
View on GoogleGood pastries and fair pricing, but the packaging policy is confusing. Slow serving. The staff asked whether three pastries should be placed in the same paper bag, which would clearly damage them. Proper packaging should be a standard, not a question. Being told that paper bags are only included for cakes—which feels odd—with additional charges for pastries seems inconsistent for an international brand.
View on GoogleSmall bakery and pastry corner at Grand Lucky SCBD. They have quite a lot of pastry and bread variety to choose from, and they could re-heat your order for free. I've tried most of the pastry and sourdpugh. Taste, texture, and size were alright. Croissant was crispy on the outside but filling when you eat it. Very convenient as a go-to when you also shop in Grand Lucky. Service was fast and friendly, price was standard and affordable. No seat here, take away only.
View on GoogleUsually go to grand lucky at lunch time, but seldom take photos for this bakery. The purpose of taking a photo of the palmier at this bakery is the taste, which is quite similar with the palmier I took when I was a little kid. The staff at this bakery are all friendly and ready for proving assistance. The whole wheat toast and the whole wheat sourdough are also good choices. The potato gratin Maison Pierre sells is yummy and convenient to eat as well.
View on GoogleThis little bakery is located inside Grandlucky superstore (next to the side entrance). When the store first opened i had a chance to talk to the owner (Pierre himself). He was very nice and polite. All his pastries looks beautiful and taste good. But not long after that, the quality of the pastry start to decreased drastically (visually and taste wise). I was dissapointed. I didnt try it again until recently. When the pastry looks near perfection, thats when i decided to give it another chance. And im glad i did. I hope the owner will maintain this quality for years to come.
