We Had a wonderful dining experience at Canton 108 in Ashta Mall. The food quality was excellent, and every dish was well-prepared with great attention to flavor and presentation. The Hong Kong-style steamed grouper was the highlight of the meal. The fish was incredibly fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The soy-based sauce was light, balanced, and complemented the natural sweetness of the fish without overpowering it. The Peking duck was also very enjoyable. The skin had a nice crisp texture, while the meat remained juicy and flavorful. It was well-seasoned, rich without being too greasy, and paired nicely with the accompanying sauce. A great dish to share. The Spanish mackerel (tenggiri) soup was comforting and satisfying, with a rich seafood flavor and generous portions of fish. The broth tasted well-developed and nourishing. Another standout was the fish maw soup. The fish maw pieces were impressively large, soft, and absorbed the flavors of the broth beautifully. The soup itself was flavorful, comforting, and felt very premium. To finish, the dessert was refreshing and not overly sweet, making it a perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Canton 108 delivers high-quality Cantonese cuisine with fresh ingredients, refined flavors, and excellent presentation.
View on GoogleCanton 108 serves delicious Cantonese food with consistently high-quality dishes. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully prepared. The black sesame dessert is an absolute must-try—rich, smooth, and the perfect ending to the meal. Great dining experience, and I’d happily come back again!
View on GoogleThe xiaolongbao wrappers were slightly thicker than I prefer, but everything else made up for it. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and overall, I had a great dining experience.
View on GoogleAmazing dining experience in Canton 108. The ambience, the atmosphere, the decor.... wow! The food are exquisite 👌. We came in group and we ordered quite a lot. Didn't expect all of them are going to indulge our pallet with their food. Bravo Canton 108 for their service and food. Oh and now they previously just open a branch in Senayan City mall, Basement floor. Very easy, just get down at the main lobby and took the escalator down. Easy to find 😊♥️
View on GoogleWe had a great time dining at Canton 108 and tried a variety of dishes that made the experience enjoyable. The Canton 108 Appetizer Platter was a good way to start, there was jellyfish, sliced beef tendon (I think), poached chicken, and charsiu-style unagi. It was interesting to try unagi done differently, though I personally prefer the usual Japanese-style unagi. Still, it was a nice change and probably better suited for those who enjoy fusion flavors. The Crispy Prawn Cheong Fun was tasty, what stood out most was the fragrant soy-based sauce that paired really well with the crispy texture inside the rice roll. I also liked the Two Flavors Eggplant. They used green eggplant, which kept its shape well and wasn’t mushy. It came with mushrooms and tofu too. The Traditional Whole Chicken Cooked in Clay and Lotus Leaf was something new for me. It arrived still wrapped in clay, which they cracked open at the table, fun to watch! The chicken was quite flavorful, a bit salty, but went well with plain white rice. We also tried the Fried Okra with Pumpkin Sauce. It was actually more like a rich dish. The pumpkin sauce was savory and slightly salty, which again made it great with rice. Some of the okra pieces were a bit tough, maybe because they were overripe, but overall still enjoyable. The Grilled Char Siu Seabass was interesting, soft fish with a sweet char siu glaze. For me, the char siu flavor works better with pork or chicken, but it was still worth trying for something different. Lastly, I had the Imperial Lapsang Souchong tea. It had a smoky, roasted aroma, kind of like charcoal or campfire, very unique and perfect to end the meal. It was my first time trying it, and I found it unique and memorable. Service was professional, and the dishes came out at a nice pace. Overall, the dishes were interesting and we enjoyed the variety. There were a few hits and a few that weren’t quite my taste, but it was a good dining experience.
