The location is just across office 8 right around the corner. Expect lines during lunch time but the turnover is quite quick (there's the unwritten rule to leave as soon as youre finished eating) everything was cooked perfectly. I had kerapu goreng (comes with sambal tomat and tempe) and fried eggplant. The fish was fresh and fried to perfection. The sambal though yummy but i had better sambal. Eggplant was a good company for the dish. lastly and most importantly, they serve huge amount of free lalapan i couldnt find in any other street vendor place (which usually only serve cabbage, cucumber and local basil). They surprsingly serve daun poh-pohan and kenikir which is so rare, and in my honest opinion, the key to why i had such a blast in every bite. The lalapan cut through the greasiness of ried food and elevate the sambal. would definitely come back to try other seafood, but will come earlier before lunch time for next time
View on GoogleA must-try Warung Ikan Goreng in Jakarta! Their signature menu item, Ikan Goreng Kerapu, really suits our taste. The fish is fried until crispy on the outside while the meat remains thick, tender, and well-seasoned. The bones are large and spaced out, making it easy to enjoy the meat without hassle. Each portion already comes with rice, tempe goreng, sambal, and fresh vegetables. The sambal has that classic pecel lele style with a touch of shrimp paste, giving it a slightly sweet and savory flavor that isn’t too spicy. If the Ikan Goreng Kerapu is sold out, we highly recommend trying the Ikan Goreng Kuwe as an alternative, also delicious! We usually visit on weekday lunch hours, and it gets very crowded, so expect a waiting list of around 30 minutes. We returned again on a Saturday around 10 AM and luckily didn’t have to wait, but unfortunately, the Ikan Goreng Kerapu was already sold out.
View on GoogleIf you are wondering the cleanliness, you should have no doubt. The food is tasty, the sambal is good but slightly too sweet according to my taste. I love the eggplant, my favorite! I will definitely spoil my belly with their foods again next time. Ouh, don’t come on Sunday as they are closed.
View on GoogleHmmm They serve fried fish. The taste delicious i think. But, they have a small place and if you bring car , its a little bit difficult to park your car. You should try to eat they fried fish, but it recomended to take out than dine in haha. Ps. In this place, you eat on the side of the road, so without me having to explain you already know what the atmosphere is like, right?
View on GoogleThe price is standard. Free lalapan. Has lot of tables and chairs. The sambal pretty yummy, not so spicy, not so bland. The gurame was fried crispy, but unfortunately the catfish or lele was fried not well (half cooked). Served in our lunch so busy in here an queue, but the seller served pretty fast. Has no parking lot, so if umyou come here, pretty difficult to find the parking area, unless using the side of the road
