Been in love with Bumbu Satu for a while, a Korean restaurant that offers a wide range of traditional, comforting dishes. I’ve tried quite a few items here, and here’s the breakdown: Modeum Sundae This is a platter of Korean blood sausage (sundae) served with different cuts like liver and other offals. The sundae itself is soft and slightly chewy, filled with glass noodles. It might be an acquired taste, but it’s actually quite savory and enjoyable when dipped in salt or paired with their condiments. Sundaeguk ⭐ (My all-time favorite) A warm, hearty Korean soup with sundae and pork-based broth. The broth is rich, deeply savory, and super comforting — perfect for rainy days or when you need something warm. The sundae inside absorbs the broth really well, making every bite flavorful. Honestly, I can come here for a solo dinner just for this bowl — it’s my ultimate comfort food. Jokbal Braised pork trotters that are tender, gelatinous, and packed with flavor. The meat is soft and slightly sticky, usually enjoyed with garlic, chili, and dipping sauce. It’s rich but very satisfying. Nakji Bibimbap Rice mixed with octopus (nakji), vegetables, and sauce. It has a slightly spicy and savory flavor, with a nice chewy texture from the octopus. Once everything is mixed together, it becomes a well-balanced, flavorful bowl. Kalguksu A comforting noodle soup with hand-cut noodles. The broth is lighter compared to sundaeguk but still savory, and the noodles are soft and slightly chewy, making it a great option if you want something warm but not too heavy. --- Overall, Bumbu Satu is a great spot for authentic Korean comfort food, especially if you enjoy hearty soups and traditional flavors. And if you’re new here — just start with the sundaeguk. Trust me, it’s the star of the show 🇰🇷✨
View on GoogleMy go to lunch resto lately. I usually come here whenever i wanna eat something comforting. Their soups are amazing. Their banchan is just perfect.
View on GoogleGood Korean food restaurant. Ordered their well know fish soup (chu eo tang), octopus kimchi (nak ji bok eum) & pork trotters/feet (jokbal). Their banchan (side dish) really sucks in term of variety, size & taste.
View on GoogleI have visited this restaurant several times with my Korean friends, who were the ones to recommend this place. The food here has a very authentic Korean homemade taste. The restaurant is always crowded during lunchtime, mainly with Korean guests, indicating its popularity among the Korean community. The ambiance inside the restaurant truly makes you feel like you are dining in a genuine Korean restaurant in Korea. I appreciate the delicious flavors of the food, and they also provide complimentary condiments that you can request several times. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a genuine Korean dining experience
View on GoogleOne of my favorite Korean restaurants in Jakarta. The chueotang is a must have! Very tasty and savory. I also like their jokbal (boiled marinated pork hock), yukgaejang, and nakji bibimbap. Service is very good. Servers are very knowledgable about their products and quite attentive. Everything is presented as beautifully as they taste. Whatever I ordered in this restaurant always tasted good, and I feel that the price is very worth it for the non-BBQ Korean dishes. Very recommended.
