If you’re looking for a reliable brunch spot in Jakarta, BAKED is one of those places that never disappoints. Their brunch menu and pastries are consistently delicious, with quality that keeps me coming back. Everything feels freshly made and well executed. What stands out just as much is the service. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely pay attention to their customers without being intrusive. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Great food, great pastries, and consistently excellent service—definitely a place I’d happily revisit.
View on Google⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BAKED - GUNAWARMAN A two-storey space that's far more spacious than their Bali outlet, now with a more diverse menu as well. The Original Best Scramble remains a must-order signature—perfectly creamy and satisfying. The Sourdough Pancake was comforting, though I'd prefer the maple syrup served on the side as it was a little too sweet. The Pure Açai Crunch and Upcycled Sourdough Ice Cream also leaned sweeter than my preference, while the Charcoal Smoothie was refreshing and my favorite drink of the visit. Overall, another solid branch with great food, a beautiful space, and definitely worth checking out.
View on GoogleThis review was based on my visit on January 2026. Baked. Gunawarman is one of those places that gets a lot of things right. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between cozy and modern, with plenty of natural light and a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to spend a couple of hours there. It works just as well for a casual brunch as it does for a coffee meeting or even a solo visit with a laptop. The food is consistently solid. Their pastries are a highlight—fresh, flaky, and not overly sweet. On the savory side, the menu offers a good variety. My favorite one is their scrambled eggs, loving it since their Bali day. Coffee is also reliably good, which isn’t always a given, even at popular spots. Service is friendly and fairly attentive, even when the place gets busy—which it often does, especially on weekends. You might need a bit of patience during peak hours, but the overall experience makes up for it. It’s definitely a spot worth coming back to if you’re in the Gunawarman area.
View on GoogleI’ve been wanting to visit this place ever since I heard this famous Bali pastry spot opened in Jakarta. My first attempt on a Sunday lunch was a fail due to the crazy long waitlist, but I finally made it on a weekday afternoon. The coffee has a distinct acidity that pairs perfectly with milk in a latte. I also loved the small touch of serving sparkling water on the side—it’s those little details that make a difference! The Food: Egg Benedict (10/10): Absolutely delicious. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, and the bacon was crisped to perfection. I’d definitely come back just for the Benny! Scrambled Eggs: Super soft and creamy. The combo with green onions was spot on. Halloumi Harvest Salad(10/10): Delicious! Highly recommend! Fresh, bright, and delicious. I love the dressing so much. My go-to for a healthy meal. Pastries & Sourdough: The Peanut Butter Croissant was divine, and the takeaway sourdough was great value for money. Salmon Bagel: This was the only letdown. While the salmon and cream cheese were generous and tasty, the bagel itself was incredibly tough—almost rubbery. I couldn't even cut it with a knife and had to ask the staff for help. Definitely needs some improvement. Overall, the atmosphere is lovely and the prices are reasonable for the location. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
View on GoogleI have had savory pastries twice as good for the same price or even less. Please improve your R&D. The bagel sandwich was dry, the foccaccia was tough, the sauce and meat was not enough to compensate for the dryness. The eclairs, however, was very good. I like the concept of having caramel cream in one eclair and chocolate in the other. The bite was pleasant and the texture was nice. The rhubarb pie is okay.
