Absolutely loved the food here. The unagi was incredibly tender and soft — it practically melted in my mouth. The wagyu was just as impressive, very tender and easy to eat without having to put much effort into cutting or chewing. The whole experience felt very authentic and Japanese, from the food to the overall atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place with high-quality Japanese food and beautifully tender meat, this is definitely worth trying. Would definitely come back again!
View on GoogleWe came here for our 7 PM reservation after booking nearly two months in advance, and it was absolutely worth the wait. The restaurant is quite small, but that only adds to its authentic Japanese atmosphere. It's cozy, intimate, and very comfortable. It's easy to see why reservations fill up so quickly with such limited seating. The service was exceptional. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the menu in detail, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. We ordered the Unagi Wagyu Juju, choosing the half unagi and half wagyu option so we could enjoy both. The food definitely lived up to the hype. The unagi was perfectly cooked, the wagyu was tender and flavorful, and the buttery sauce brought everything together beautifully. Every bite was absolutely delicious. Overall, an amazing dining experience with outstanding food, warm hospitality, and an authentic Japanese ambiance. Highly recommended, but make sure to book well in advance!
View on Googletaste is good but nothing extraordinary, downside the unagi there's a bone in it. and because we expected no bones, my wife got bone stuck at the throat luckily nothing bad happen. service were great from the staffs place is to small. we take the lunch package that offer one beef one unagi but the gap between the two foods takes to long to come out, so next time be better at this, i rather you bringing out at the same times or at least within a minute. nice visit.
View on GoogleMy first time eating unagi and thanks for making this a great experience. Attendant was extra attentive and patient in explaining what's in each menu. I picked Una Wagyujuu, requested for juicy eel slices instead of crisp, with Koune variant and extra butter topping. He warned me that it'd be extra oily but it's okay since I prefer it that way. And sure enough, the result is not for the faint of heart, so for readers who would like to have more balanced menu, go for lean meat or no butter instead. Me? I regret nothing :) The set came with Chawanmushi and it's pretty good, the egg was smooth with a few bits of toppings in it. The Unagi Kimo Yaki is as expected from eel liver. Liked that as well. Ocha... it's fine, and got free refills. Overall, it's great 👍
View on GoogleVery good grilled eel with an unexpectedly tasty twist. The unagi is as good as it gets in Jakarta, but theres not much difference vs other unagi restaurants (which are also good). However the option to add butter turns out to give a tasty twist to a predictable unagi taste. Do book in advance when you come. Also prepare an empty tummy since their menu are in sets and will leave you full. Service (in person and through chat) can be more friendly
