The real hidden gem Korean restaurant!!! All food perfectly seasoned and cooked… The most juiciest samgyeopsal I’ve ever had in Jakarta… must have ordered!! This was my first time visiting Jiwon Galbi in Ciranjang. I really enjoyed the yangnyeom gejang, the taste was surprisingly close to what I had in Korea. It was a little sweet and not as spicy as I expected, but it was still delicious. The beef sundubu jjigae was excellent, with a generous portion and plenty of beef but the beef was a little bit tough, making it harder to chew. I also loved the banchan, especially the kimchi. It tasted fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant. I came for an early dinner on a weekday, so it was fairly quiet, which made the dining experience even more relaxing. Overall, I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes. Good job!

I tried a few dishes at Jiwon Galbi, and the sundubu jjigae really stood out for me — the tofu was incredibly soft and comforting. The yangnyeom gejang was also a nice first try and ended up being right up my alley. It felt like a very satisfying Korean meal overall, and I’d definitely come back when I’m in Jakarta again.

They have quite unique varieties of korean dishes, like duck and crab. Taste is good, we ordered the seasoned pork neck, toppoki & minced duck patty. All are good but overall experience is just ok. Why? The banchan is all only vegetable bases, not as exciting as other korean resto. Service is quite slow. There are many staff but very difficult to call them even to ask for chopsticks. Price is high, while you can get same menu with 30% cheaper price in many other good korean resto. So although the food is good, it's not impressive enough to justify the prices.

Solo dining experience here at Jiwon Galbi was phenomenal. A top notce service, friendly staff and owner, and super yummy food. I ordered too much food and the lady owner asked me in shock if I really ordered all for myself hahahah. I was just craving my people's food so much! Thank you all the staff and cooks. They deserve more credit and recognition. I'll come back here again before I leave Jakarta! 싸장님 잘 먹고 갑니다 :)
