The decor/atmosphere is one of the best in Jakarta with a true garden cafe feel. The food is ok but I prefer more emphasis on fresh ingredients and bringing out unique flavours etc. This being said I only went for lunch and it is quite reasonable for the price, and a lot of effort seems to have gone into the dishes to cater for the main clientele (young trendy locals). Notable is the fabulous outdoor seating area. Corkage is apparently only 100,000Rp so with some nibbles and a decent bottle, this could be a great place to have some pre or post dinner drinks!
View on GoogleI love the restaurant's ambiance. Is like Bali within 3 minutes from my residence. The service is excellent... Our host Angie is the best. The food us standard good.
View on GoogleI really like the ambience of this place, it's warm and filled with positive energy. The owner is so kind to greet you, and is approachable. The food is a bit on the pricey end, but it's worthwhile.
View on GoogleI was just literally go out from this place. Rhe food quality is just so far from what i remembered. It tasted nothing near good! I left with a bad full stomach. First of all, the place is HOT! Please do maintain your a/c. Call me if you need a suggestion how to maintain a good air condition. I ordered carpaccio, well carpaccio should be COLD dish! Learn your terms, chef! Its like a improperly stored salmon sashimi. I ordered fajitas. The flat bread is cheap, non fresh products. Its frozen bread! The meat cut is terrible, what shocked me most is I can taste teriyaki flavor in my tounge. Its a paprika with beef not the order way around. And the mix the bells with beef, again learn your terms, chef. ANd whatttt no SOUR CREAM. ITS A FRICKIN WHIPPED COOKING CREAM they gave me, claimed as a sour cream. My fingers are tired to type, won’t go back here again. Leaving disappointed.
View on GoogleTasting Audrey Hepburn or Marie Antoinette for Rp400k. Mysterious façade with a forever closed wooden door at the back end of a corridor scantily lit with yellow lamps. On the inside, bistronomy is a restaurant, darkened, ornamented with European classics style lamps and décor and curtains. Furniture is semi lounge with classic style sofas and wooden chairs. The placement of the sofas are a bit messy. There are long tables for a more formal big dinner. An outdoor space was made near a garden, but again, too dark to see the garden. Menu is European. Bistronomy has degustation menu named after Marie Antoinette and Audrey Hepburn, you can taste them for Rp400k. Paris ladies and secret garden set menu for lighter meal. Food is ok, served one after another in small portion. A romantic place for dinner with classical Europe atmosphere, plus dark. Many teenagers and young adult came here for dating, although the place looks old. Some photos sessions can be quite disturbing, but Bistronomy is a favourite place for classic theme photography.
