Babooji is an Indian Kitchen & Bar located at Gunawarman with a modern-vintage feel: warm wooden interiors, some fun quirky touches and cozy atmosphere We ordered the chicken tikka and it’s well-marinated, with good balance of spices. The char from the tandoor adds a nice smoky depth. Doesn’t feel dry at all. Their lamb rogan josh is So good. The lamb is tender, the gravy rich without being overwhelming. Garlic, onions and spices shine through. A dish that shows Babooji isn’t just about flashy – they can really do traditional well. The garlic naan, soft and fluffy, garlic flavour is present but not overpowering. Perfect for sopping up the sauces and gravies. Maybe could be more garlicky. Portions are generally okay, but for the price, some expect bigger serving sizes. The ambience, service, and presentation elevate the meal. It’s not cheap, but for many dishes you’ll feel it’s worth the cost

View on GoogleBabooji's part of the Soho building, not on the ground floor, but on the 3rd floor. So we had take the lift to go upstairs. The interior was designed beautifully and comfortable. We could see the city lighting from the big windows. The ambiance was great. We ordered: Mango lassi Naan Keema biryani Chicken makhni Lamb sheekh kebab Palak paneer Gulab jamun Tawa brownies All the food were yummy and suitable to our palates.
View on GoogleGreat place to taste authentic Indian cuisine. Food is very good and service was great. The atmosphere is amazing, the music feels like someone is walking beside you. It is a bit pricey…
View on GoogleWe went there in the early evening just as the sun was setting. The restaurant was empty except for us, so we took the opportunity to capture lots of photos, which looked amazing in the sunset atmosphere. The food is excellent—though a bit pricey, the quality and overall experience make it absolutely worth it.
