very homey restaurant with good menu selection. they serve authentic korean food that you don’t normally find in other korean restaurants in indonesia. waitresses were really friendly and hospitable. very attentive to our needs and requests. we ordered seollongtang, gamjatang, jeokbal, and pork bulgogi. we were also given a few banchan which was refillable (someone mentioned that you can only refill them twice). we thought the pork bulgogi was slightly fatty and oily. but the rest of the food were really good! the jeokbal portion was massive though (didn’t expect that 😅) definitely to share between 5-6 people. overall, very good experience. will definitely come back to try their other menu!
View on GoogleThe bulgogi was the highlight of the meal, but the other dishes were just okay. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The waitresses were rude, and you’re only allowed to refill the banchan twice. We completely understand if that’s the restaurant’s policy, but the way they told us came across as unnecessarily rude. If they had explained it politely, we wouldn’t have been offended. Instead, we were just left thinking, “Huh? Okay… chill.
View on GoogleSamsiseki serves various tasteful Korean delicacies. I personally always back for its sundaegugbap (순대국밥). I love the quite plain yet its comforting broth. It comes with many choices of side dishes that could be refill many times. Most of the main menu has two option of type of portion, however their small portion was also fulfilling. The price was reasonable. The service was good. My friends and I have tried few menu and all was good. We usually sit on the first floor since the second floor quite dim. Despite all of the good food, I think they need to put more effort on their sanitary part.
View on GoogleHad the chance to try samsiseki yesterday, it was niceeeee, the food was good, the place was quiet (i came around 7.30pm on sat, only 2 table beside me that has customer.) The place is quiet and small, located next to kenanga and kacamata. The banchan has not much variety, but the kimchi is so good and quite spicy. The bossam (?i forgot the name actually) is good. The only downside are the lettuce and the catnip leaves are quite soggy. Oh!the rice wine is great! Overall, pleasant experience and will surely come back for more
View on GoogleTasty dwaeji gukbap that I loooove so much! Best in town. It gives you warm home-cooked korean meals that you can eat every single day. Coming all the way from BSD every weekend just to have a taste of their foods.
