I came here for iftar (breaking fast) with my friends. The location is quite easy to access as long as there’s no traffic. Honestly, I had high expectations dining here because the restaurant’s ambiance is very beautiful and the prices are quite expensive. We arrived right before Maghrib and happened to sit in the “Rumah Besar” area. It was something not regular house cause it has chandelier above us seating, and they provided free takjil either inside the venue or outside near the entrance gate. When we arrived, the food was already prepared and placed on the table, which was convenient. However, there are a few things that need to be highlighted. 1. The food looks good and is quite pricey, but the taste was flat. Whether it was the regular dendeng fried rice or the spicy one, both tasted bland. Out of all the dishes, the only one that had a nicely balanced savory flavor was the cakalang fried noodles. The Lumpia fillings were soggy, the tofu just like ordinary tofu that doesn’t have flavors at all and the corn fritters were dry, one of them didn’t even have shrimp in it at all. The food quality really needs improvement because we were quite disappointed with most of the dishes. The flavors didn’t stand out at all, and to make it worse, the food was cold. 2. Maybe because it was very crowded, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. We had to call four different staff members just to ask for sauce and sweet soy sauce, and it still took quite some time. We also asked one of the staff to help assist us for pictures but he did it like 1/2 ikhlas(?) haha 3. The restroom was clean, but the toilet bidet was not functioning properly, the water pressure was extremely weak. This definitely needs to be fixed. Overall, the food and service really need improvement, especially the taste of the dishes. Please pay attention to this because many people are paying premium prices, but the food quality doesn’t match the cost.

Went here for Iftar with girls, love their traditional vibe, they serve free takjil during Iftar and suitable for sharing (makan tengah) coz the main course’s portion is huge, delicious food, beverage, and dessert Maybe a little touch for the Musholla could be better especially for Muslimah shaf

A good choice to try Indonesian foods We came back here because of the place, the food comes 2nd 😁 We love the place It’s quiet and tranquil Love the small touches from this place Started from the pigeons, some birds.. the trees n garden, the authentic Javanese old house, the furnitures, the nitty gritty was chose very thoughtful. The music very much welcoming n perfect as a background sound, even sound effect of a frog singing in the toilet adds the joy. Food wise, would say fits for expats. Wouldn’t say very authentic but they will get a glimpse pf ID cuisines. I ordered: - asinan juhi (it was nice, but served in warm instead of cold) - the trio satay was great - the nasi goreng rendang, honestly a bit underwhelming. The rendang was just that, nothing special and a bit tough, and couldn’t taste the rendang distinctively in the rice - nasi goreng sei sapi, think it’s better than the rendang one. One downside from both nasi goreng was, it didn’t serve with sunny side up egg. Everyone knows that is the trademark… when u eliminate it, it doesn’t feel that authentic. Aside food n ambience, the service was also warm. Price wise, is in the high side as other similar restaurants in that level. Though, it is worth it considering the place and set up. If the outdoor space comes with some outdoor fan with the mist of water, might be nicer to sit outside too in the mid day

Plataran Dharmawangsa is, in my opinion, the most exquisitely designed and beautifully maintained of all the Plataran venues in Jakarta. Centered around a magnificent 150-year-old Joglo house with lush tropical gardens and a glass-roofed conservatory, every detail blends heritage charm with refined elegance. Helmeted guinea fowl roam freely in the driveway alongside the occasional white pigeon, adding a whimsical touch to the serene atmosphere. I knew this place as an exclusive venue for weddings and private events, but it’s now far more accessible for everyday dining — making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal as well as special occasions. The food is consistently excellent, the service warm and attentive, and the ambiance unlike anywhere else in the city. A true Jakarta gem.

Heard all good things about this place and not gonna lie, we loved it. Food was super delish and the service was amazing, especially Mba Tica. A very recommended place if you want to try delicious Indonesian foods in a beautiful Javanese atmosphere. We definitely will come back again.
