This one is a gem. The location is rather hidden, unnoticed because is near the ramp from the flyover. The food is exquisite. We had the nasi umbara and chicken garlic. It was really good. The place is homey and warm. The staff is really nice. The service is quite fast.
View on GoogleI really love the ambience here, it’s quiet and lovely, almost feels like dining in your own home, especially when there are no other guests around. I’ve tried many of their dishes and none have ever disappointed me. My favorites are the ayam goreng bawang, which is tender and aromatic, and the laksa Umara with its thick, savory broth. For snacks, I’d recommend the tahu isi and the tape roll (fermented cassava spring rolls). The service is always friendly and attentive. Parking is usually easy too, since they have a spacious lot, except when there’s an event. I just keep coming back.
View on GoogleSecond visit here, I reorder the same Nasi Goreng, sate tempe, and the taste is consistently great. Gonna eat here again next month after monthly checkup at nearby hospital.
View on GoogleBig beautiful restaurant in southern part of jakarta. they are famous for the catering service but this place is their signature restaurant with big dining areas, outdoor space as well as rooms with bars. Menu is great, featuring a lot of choices of Indonesian traditional.cuisines and beyond. The taste is great, the presentation is also lovely. We came here for brunch and we ended up ordering a lot of food. I tried their lontong sayur, laksa, grilled lamb shank, jagung muda bakar, sop iga bakar, nasi campur, otak - otak, singkong goreng and more. Service is great and fast. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The have mushola or the praying room above on the 2nd floor. It has additional toilets and ablution corner as well. Very handy.
View on GoogleThe food is delicious. Not overwhelming, yet rich and tasty. Meat is tender. My favorite is empal.gentong, lidah cabe ijo and paru asam manis. You can just order Umara rice to get a bit of everything then decide if you want to order any of the dishes ala carte. But we don't really like the venue. They moved from the one in Wijaya to this house, which is a bit small and the layout is not optimum so we don't feel too comfortable because the space between tables is too little and you don't feel like having privacy (especially with big group near you). And also the food came a bit too long. But luckily the taste is excellent so we were happy at the end
