The ambience was cozy, homey, and a great place to work from café. It’s comfortable for long stays and feels relaxing overall. I ordered a sweetened coffee, but it turned out to be too sweet for my taste. However, if you enjoy sweeter drinks, it could be perfect for you—otherwise, it’s better to try other menu options. The almond was perfect, I really liked it. I also tried the Kyoto coffee, which seems to be a mix of matcha and latte (not entirely sure), but you can taste each element quite distinctly.
View on GoogleI ordered cappuccino and banana bread. the coffee was great, the banana bread was good. I do really like the ambience. Plus, there's free water as well. Service wise, a bit subpar in my opinion. Well, especially if you are accustomed with the warmth of Indonesian hospitality. Price wise it's leaning on a premium range.
View on Google⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Spot for Coffee and Conversation This café is a real gem. The coffee is excellent, and the pastries are just as good — a perfect pairing. The space itself has a unique, eye-catching feel that sets it apart from your typical coffee shop. What really stood out was the atmosphere: people come here to chat, relax, and spend time with ease. It has that easygoing, welcoming energy that makes you want to stay a while. Overall, a great place to hang out, whether you’re catching up with friends or just enjoying a quiet coffee break.
View on GoogleGreat coffee and pastries. Very chill place to sit down and enjoy your day. The coffee selection is all nicely roasted and has good variety. Tried the long black and it was nicely balanced and calibrated.
View on GoogleA place I’ve been coming back to for a while now, and it never loses its charm. I usually do a quick takeaway but this time I decided to actually sit down and soak in the atmosphere, and I’m glad I did. The vibe is wonderfully chill and easygoing, exactly the kind of place you want to unwind at. The coffee is as top notch as ever. I went with their filter pourover Japanese style and it was so refreshing, especially with how hot Jakarta has been lately. Light, clean and just what you need on a warm day. It’s no surprise to me that Blue Doors has expanded so much over the years. They’ve clearly built something special and the quality has stayed consistent throughout. Easily one of the best coffee spots in Jakarta and one I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended!
