Visited on a Saturday night, There’s no formal queue system, so it’s more of a “kebersamaan” (togetherness) situation where everyone informally agrees on the order. Luckily, the group ahead of us was really nice. We waited around 45 minutes to an hour (no proper waiting area, so be prepared, I ended up sitting on the floor 😅). Also worth noting: reservations are only for members and they regularly update house rules on their Instagram. I’d recommend checking it before coming, just to manage expectations. That said, once we got in, it was worth it. The hamburg was good and the atmosphere felt cozy and relaxed. It has a slow service izakaya vibe, you can actually enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. There’s also a bar on the second floor if you’re up for drinks. Just a heads up: smoking is allowed, so it might not be ideal if you’re sensitive to that. worth the wait, would revisit✔️
View on GoogleFresh sushi and good Japanese yakitori. Unique atmosphere although a bit hot inside. You need to queue a little but when I came we got seats quite quickly. They have informed that it will be slow served because they prepare from fresh. If you want to hang out and have a good dinner, this is a perfect place but if you are in a rush it might not be suitable for you
View on GoogleBenizuru is one of the best Japanese dining spots in Jakarta, especially if you love fresh seafood and authentic yakitori. The Poke Don and Sake Chirashi were absolutely delicious, with generous portions of fresh, high-quality fish that made every bite satisfying. Their wide variety of yakitori is easily among the best in Jakarta, perfectly grilled, flavorful, and worth coming back for. The location is great, but keep in mind they only open at 6 PM. I highly recommend arriving early and lining up before opening time because once the restaurant is full, you may need to wait up to 2 hours due to their sitting time policy. The space is not very large, but it still feels cozy and welcoming. The open live kitchen adds a special touch, allowing you to enjoy the cooking experience while dining. Overall, Benizuru is definitely worth
View on GoogleHad pretty high expectations for Benizuru because of how strict and detailed their rules were, but unfortunately the experience really didn’t live up to it. We were literally the first customers in line that day, waited around 15 minutes before opening, got seated, and ordered within 5 minutes. Most of the food arrived after around 40 minutes, which was already quite long considering we were the first batch of orders. But what really confused us was the tamagoyaki. We waited another 50 minutes just for ONE tamagoyaki. In total, around 1.5 hours for a single tamagoyaki on the first service of the day. Honestly still can’t understand how that happened. Taste-wise, nothing really stood out. Most dishes were overly salty. The tsukune was extremely salty and overly burnt to the point it was almost inedible. The hamburg don was somehow salty and sweet at the same time, sorry but it genuinely tasted like a failed semur ayam 😭 Price-wise, this place is definitely on the pricier side. We paid around 600k+ for not that many dishes. Maybe they’re going for Tokyo-level pricing, but the portion, taste, and especially the service really didn’t justify it. The chicken nanban was around 60k and came with only 4 small pieces of chicken, and it wasn’t even crispy 😂 Even the oolong tea tasted almost like plain water. The only positive thing I can say is the waitresses were actually very nice and polite. They served us well, apologized multiple times for the extremely slow service, and even acknowledged themselves that the service was unusually slow that day. Overall, really disappointing experience considering the hype and strict dining rules. Sadly wouldn’t come back again.
View on GoogleOne of the best places I've ever been to. The food never disappoints no matter which you chose, passes the vibe check, will always come back to eat at this place! recommended items to try: sorireshu, brie katsu, poke don, momo pie, shiitake, miso soup, shisamo. for new comers: reservations are only available for members!
