We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Sinar Mandala and had such a great experience. The restaurant is perfect for family gatherings, eating with a big group, or celebrating special occasions. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and every dish we ordered tasted amazing. The prices are still quite affordable considering the quality and portion size. The interior is also beautiful and comfortable, giving a warm atmosphere for celebrations. The location is easy to find since it’s right by the roadside, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

High quality restaurant serving indonesian-chinese cuisine. Nasi goreng kepiting is quite good. People say that the portion in this restaurant is quite huge and I have to agree with that. I'm usually a big eater and the nasi goreng is much more than my usual bigger portion, definitely cooked to be shared with 2-3 people. So I think you should try this out if you are looking to eat in high quality restaurant in a group setting. It's really pricey though, so check the menu first before going.

Stepping into Sinar Mandala feels like entering an ancient culinary heritage..., the place is full with radiant red colors - rich with Chinese ornaments... The food lives up to its legendary reputation..., well-balanced and has authentic flavours... Our favourite menu are: seafood tofu soup, crab and shrimp fried rice, gurame fish with sour and sweet souce, and chicken bistik... Once in a while, we always come back to this place due to the foods...

This is one of the legendary Hakka - Chinese food in the city that has opened for a long time from generation to generation. One of its recommendation menu is Nasi goreng kepiting and soup oyong, other dishes are also as delicious. This is a mid-sized restaurant that can accommodate quite a lot of people. Both round and square tables are available. Nicely decorated with a slight touch of modernity yet still keep its Chinese originality. I gave two thumbs up for the food, the price was also decent. One thing that can be improved is the service as it took a long time to serve one of my dishes. It required a lot of prompt and frequent asking until it was served. Either they forgot to take the order, or the kitchen forgot to cook, I hope it was only happened to me. Other than that, I am satisfied and surely would like to come back.

Legendary Chinese food restaurant in South Jakarta. Although, in overall we cannot compare with Chinese resto in North and West Jakarta that serve pork, but this is one of my favorite since long time ago. They’ve just moved to a new location and rejuvenated. Now the place is bigger, more comfortable, and better interior. Furthermore, it is managed more professionally now. Parking is still an issue in this area, though they provided paid valet parking service. All foods that I had were very nice: nasi goreng udang kepiting, bistik sapi, sop tahu seafood, udang lapis. This is the first time I tried nasi goreng udang kepiting, and found it’s very yummy. Service was excellent too, right from the pre-visit up until the post-visit.
