From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. What truly stood out was the chef personally coming to our table to recommend dishes. He took the time to listen carefully to my mom’s dietary requirements and thoughtfully suggested options that would suit her needs. That level of care and attentiveness made us feel valued and well taken care of. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The tomyum sop buntut was especially memorable, generously meaty, tender, with broth that was flavorful without being overly salty. It had just the right depth and warmth. The singkong was perfectly cooked, soft and crumbly with a comforting texture. And the chicken wings made the perfect appetizer, reminiscent of comforting homemade food the kind your grandma cooks. Overall, it was a genuinely happy and satisfying experience. Great food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back with the family.
View on GoogleFood is exceptionally very good! There were menus I was skeptical at first like the buntut tom yam and the iga cabai hijau but turns out I was completely wrong they were superb! Never thought buntut could be served with coconut milk and did not give you a heavy aftertaste which often happens after combining hearty ingredients altogether. The service is also very good they waiter went to the extra mile of asking whether it was my sister’s birthday discreetly and gave a nice surprise of mini dessert plus singing us birthday song. The only downside is the rice portion is a bit tiny if you have a big appetite but it actually it fits well with the rest of the menu because the portion is a bit small. And perhaps adding more veggies to the menu will be wonderful also. Definitely will come back and kudos for the service 🇮🇩♥️
View on GooglePaling Resto in Wolter Monginsidi Jakarta has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat! Their sop buntut tom yum is truly outstanding—rich, tangy, and perfectly balanced with the spices. The oxtail is tender and melts in your mouth. The bistik lidah is another must-try. The tongue is incredibly soft, and the sauce is savory, comforting, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen puts real care into every detail. Great food, cozy ambiance, and friendly service—Paling Resto is definitely worth a visit. The concern as in many restaurants in that area is the parking. But, still worth the visit.
View on GoogleVery wonderful! first time here for breaking the fast and we had an amazing experience! All the menu we ordered taste incredible (especially Thai fried fish and green chili ribs, but oxtail soup took the crown for me) The price was also affordable, we will definitely be coming back ☺️🩷
View on GoogleThe foods are delicious, friendly prices, and comfy ambiance. The meats are tender, and the spices are perfectly balance. Not to bold so it makes you drinks a lot of water during eating.
