Disclaimer : This review only covers the menu items we ordered. We tried two portions of Bakmi Ayam Jamur, one with of the staff-recommended dishes at Mpek Tjoen Panglima Polim. We opted for the thin noodles, which turned out to be satisfying and filling. Alongside, we ordered fried wontons - their texture was impressively crunchy. To complete our meal, we had one glass of unsweetened ice tea and one glass of sweet ice tea. Altogether, it made for a pleasant and well-balanced lunch experience. The prices here are quite affordable, the place itself feels enjoyable, and the spacious parking area makes visiting even more convenient. It’s definitely one of bakmi restaurants worth trying
View on GoogleMediocre taste for their noodles, not delicious. I had better for the beef balls & wontons soups. With such prices, customers still need to pickup their orders & return dirty dishes.
View on GoogleVery clean space wise and taste wise. Ordered bakmi ayam jamur with extra pangsit and bakso. Love the addition of lemon cui and corriander. Also love how complete the condiments they serve. fast service. strategic location, near mrt blok a
View on GoogleThis is the new Bakmi Mpek Tjoen location, previously used to be located in Ahmad Dahlan. We ordered the usual Bakmi Tipis Pangsit goreng. It is quite tasty but as before, maybe would recommend Ayam Jamur compare to Ayam Rebus (somehow ayam rebus di sini agak kurang). Condiments are great (requested for extra fried garlic) and they have the chili sauce and acar cabe to enhance the taste further. The new place is smaller and has different concept (self order at cashier, self serve on taking the food and clearing out dirty dishes) - don’t really mind the concept but maybe the price point need to be further adjusted down. The place is new and clean but not as comfy as the previous location. Toilet is located outside the resto in the 2nd floor. Tried the new dish (Bakso Goreng) priced above 20K each. I think this is too pricey for the taste.
View on GoogleThere are so many mie ayam warung in Jakarta and this bakmi Mpek Tjorn is my best 👍 In order to order bakmi, we have to select noodle type(thin, normal, thick), topping(chicken, mushroom, vegetable, etc), portion size(regular, jumbo). My selection was bakmi ayam jamur sedang which is best combo for me. I’ve tried jumbo size before, it was too big for me. Jumbo price is x1.5, but size is double. Bakwan shrimp fry and maryam bread with honey butter are also good appetizer and dessert. I forgot to take a picture, but ready-made Thai ice tea is so nice.
