We had been planning to try this place for about a week after stumbling upon it while looking for breakfast after eating at Kaya Tiam. Overall, the food was decent, though nothing particularly memorable. The Misua was just okay. Both the original broth and curry soup were flavorful, but they didn't really stand out. The dim sum and suikiaw were enjoyable, although they lacked the authenticity I was hoping for. What I really liked was the atmosphere. The setup feels authentic, with a simple yet cozy interior that's comfortable for a casual meal. Service was also fast and efficient. A big plus is that they open as early as 8:00 AM, which is perfect for breakfast. The staff were welcoming and had everything ready right when they opened.

The Misoa Story offers a variety of comforting dishes that can be enjoyed depending on your preference. For something light, the misoa original is simple and soothing 😋. If you prefer something spicy, the misoa mala is a good option—the spice level is still manageable and not too overpowering. For a richer and savory taste, the misoa curry is flavorful and satisfying. Aside from misoa, they also have interesting side dishes and snacks like the giant meatball, which is great as a quick bite. The fried dumpling is also really tasty and worth trying as a snack. The sweet options are also worth trying, such as pisang kaya (fried banana with kaya jam dip) which is sweet and enjoyable, and the fried cempedak which is also highly recommended. A nice spot overall for a variety of flavors, from light and comforting to savory and sweet 🔥

It was good lunch. I order their best seller misoa the broth is super rich in flavor, all in perfect combination. The fried rice was also good, smokey yet I would suggest to add more mala to enrich the taste. Additionally there also condiments love the fried garlic. Overall it was a good experience.

Tried this place for the first time during the busy lunch rush. It was packed, but the vibe was still great and the food tasted good. You have to order and pay first before getting a table. I'd definitely recommend visiting outside of peak hours for a better experience. Price-wise, it's pretty standard for restaurants around Blok M.

Had to wait up to 30 mins for 2 people to get in and there was no queue system so the waiter really had to memorize all the people 😅 Ordered the curry misoa and dry ramen, both were good. The curry was rich but not too heavy, and the dry ramen was simple and tasty. Only thing, the portion is a bit small, so not super filling. But overall still nice for a quick comfort meal
