TAMU is a home for Indonesian cuisine rooted in the flavors of the archipelago. Some of our dishes evoke familiar memories on the palate, while others are presented with a warm, dynamic touch, creating a fresh experience without losing their soul.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TEMU RASA 2.0 - TAMU Finally visited Tamu by Toma Group, and I was genuinely impressed. The restaurant is set inside a beautifully restored traditional Indonesian house, preserving many of its original architectural details—from the antique wooden pillars to the timeless cultural elements. The space feels warm, elegant, and full of character, making it a wonderful setting to experience Indonesian cuisine. I visited for Temu Rasa 2.0, a one-day collaboration between Chef Norman and Chef Arief, featuring a thoughtfully curated Nusantara tasting menu that celebrated the diversity of Indonesian flavors. Every course had its own distinct identity, but a few stood out: the incredibly unique and crunchy Kembang Goyang, the refreshing Tuna starter, the comforting Labu Bakar, the perfectly cooked Sie Ikan, and my favorite, Ayam Biromaru—juicy chicken paired with sukun and bold, flavorful Sulawesi-style seasoning. The Sapi Panggang was beautifully tender, and even the Nasi Jagung was exceptional—fragrant, aromatic, and delicious enough to enjoy on its own. The meal ended on a lovely note with a comforting Bajigur dessert and traditional petit fours. Although this was only a one-day event, it gave me great confidence in Tamu's culinary foundation. If this special collaboration was any indication of the quality of their kitchen, I can't wait to return and explore their regular menu. I sincerely hope some of these dishes find a permanent place on it—they truly deserve to.

Amazing elevated Indonesia cuisine! This was a masterclass in showcasing all the flavours and ingredients of Indonesian cuisine. Everything was beautifully presented and full of aroma, balanced flavour and texture. We ordered a huge variety of dishes and I must say each and everyone of them was on point. Ambience is comfortable with large open spaces catering to all group sizes. Service was impeccable - attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. A must try when you visit Jakarta!

Had a great experience here. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and well-seasoned, with the kind of rich Indonesian flavors that are hard to forget. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the visit. Definitely one of the best spots for Indonesian food in South Jakarta, and I’ll be coming back again. Thank you Agung for suggesting me the dishes.

Found this gem when I was scrolling through google maps and it didn’t disappoint. Me and my partner ordered few main courses; sambel goreng otot (whoa the perkedel was def something), konro pipi sapi, and itiak muda and everything was pleasing to our tastebud. Love the service as well! 5 stars ✨‼️
