Got the food to go, trying out the Cumi Hitam and Lidah, both are very good! the additional side dishes that comes with it is also flavorful, especially the sambal, spicy and savory, very nice. The place is small, but they have plenty of outdoor settings and it can get hot (both outside and inside, because the inside seating is close to the kitchen). Located right on the side of the walk, and it is very near the Blok M areas, this could be your choice for lunch or early dinner

Dropped by for breakfast and tried two rice dishes and a soup. The food was okay — a bit on the salty side for my taste, but overall still decent. What really stood out was the staff — super friendly and helpful. Everyone was really sweet and made the experience a lot nicer. Would give it another shot sometime!

Ordered the empal gentong campur and nasi lokiin telur kecap on different occasions. The empal gentong came with beef, lung, tripe, and lontong (rice cakes). The spices were bold. I like strong flavors but the soup was a bit too thick for my taste. The nasi lokiin telur kecap leaned a bit more on the sweet side from the soy sauce but the flavors were still nicely balanced. I’ve tried their nasi lidah and nasi paru at another branch before & the rice was too soft, almost like nasi tim. But this time, the rice was cooked perfectly.

It's a great spot for Indonesian home-cooked meals. I had lunch there with a friend from Scotland, and he said the cuisine was quite nice. I ordered beef lung for myself and chicken fish for him. The place is small, but there are chairs outside the restaurant. Prices start from around Rp 50k for a plate of Lookin.
