Need to queue for around 2 hours 30 minutes (start my queue on 4.16pm and got called in on nearly 7pm. They got a qr and live update of waiting list so i can go around buy stuff and snack elsewhere and come back when the waiting number is less than 15 or 10. The atmosphere is really nice, feeling that Japanese vibe. The place is clean, the service and hospitality is good. Food is great! The portion is big, food arrives quickly after ordering, and they are still warm. Ordered Kabayaki Nikunagi Don Large with add-on Onsen Egg (the portion is very big I ended up only eating half and bring take away half), the beef is tender, smokey and juicy and the unagi is crispy and sweet, underneath is a scrambled egg and rice. Very good and recommended dish. Tried Gyoza (9pcs), its good side dish for sharing. Also Niku Kushiyaki 2 skewers for each portion, I love it, the meat is juicy, smokey and tender. After eating they gave us free dessert with caramel pudding or watermelon ice. For me its worth the wait when i can go buy and other things at Blok M while waiting.

This was my first time visiting after debating whether it would be worth the long queue. I started lining up around 7:40 AM, scanned the QR on-site to get a queue number at 8:30 AM (after that, there’s no need to wait around—you can freely walk around Blok M and check the queue number live on the website), and finally got seated at 10:00 AM. A few minutes before entering, we were informed that the unagi menu was already sold out. I ordered the truffle nikudon and gyoza. The truffle aroma wasn’t too strong- imo the combination felt a bit overwhelming with the oily grilled beef. The gyoza skin was a bit thick, and the filling was quite dry (not juicy at all). Honestly, the pickle was actually my favorite part- very refreshing and sweet. The ochazuke offered near the end of the meal and tasted a bit unusual, though it might pair better with the unagi menu. Service was good and informative, and the food came quite fast (5-10 mins). I was just a little disappointed that the food was already cold when served. ‼️P.S. Only chopsticks are provided on the table—just ask the staff if you need a spoon. if possible, request a seat away from the grilling/kitchen section as it can get quite smoky and hot. It would also be nice to provide fabric sprays/deodorizer for the customers just right outside the door to zap all that smell away just like in the k-bbq restaurants🙏🏼 Overall, I’d still love to try the unagi menu and maybe visit another branch next time—hopefully with a more manageable queue than the Blok M branch 😅

I recently visited this restaurant and had a really enjoyable experience. The food was excellent—everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I especially loved the nikuunagi!! The service was also great. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good food and a pleasant dining experience. I would definitely come back again with the whole crew..

Even though we had to wait for two hours, it was totally worth it. The food was very good, and all the staff were genuinely happy to serve the customers, which made the whole experience so much fun. This was the best dining experience for me.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the beef—it was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The portions were just right, leaving me satisfied without feeling too full. Considering the quality of the food, the prices are definitely worth it. The music was also great and created such a fun, lively atmosphere, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Don’t skip the pudding! It was smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweet, making it the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely be coming back!
