⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Croissant Worth Carrying Across Continents! Stopped by London Layers right next to Minang Pride (yes, my lunch was that epic) and grabbed a butter croissant to go — and wow, this thing was huge. I’ve seen smaller pillows. Flaky, golden, and buttery in all the right ways — it was like biting into a French dream baked in Jakarta. Even in takeaway form, it held its shape and soul. No sogginess, no regrets. The packaging was neat, the service was fast, and the vibe of the shop? Chic enough to make me feel like I should’ve worn a trench coat and carried a novel. If you love croissants that actually feel like croissants (not just sad folded bread), this is your spot. Will definitely come back… maybe next time with coffee and a passport.
View on GoogleThe taste is good but it will be better of you reheat the pastry before you serve, cause it tastes so cold and hard to cut tho. The place is also not quite clean, maybe because it is a collaborated place with other tenant (?). It has potential if you add some good serving for the pastry. The pastry variations are a lot and looks mouthwatering, just need the microwave for the store ☺️.
View on GoogleLondon Layers & The Jakarta Floss is a great spot for dessert lovers. The cakes are delicious, soft, and not too sweet, with plenty of flavor options to choose from. The place feels cozy and perfect for a quick treat or takeaway. Definitely worth trying if you’re around the area.
View on GoogleHad high hopes for this bakery, but wow… what a letdown! ❌ It’s not cheap, but the taste? Just meh. The butter croissant is super basic, nothing special. Tried their best-seller, Longan Dulce, and it was a huge disappointment—soggy and cold. And don’t get me started on the es jeruk… it’s basically orange-colored water with a ton of ice. Definitely not worth it!
View on GoogleIf you're into pastries, then this is the place for you. The prices are quite reasonable if you dine here while spending several hours chatting. The taste of their croissant was delightful. Service was ordinary. The interior is decorated quite tastefully. Drinks are a bit overpriced for the amount that you're getting.
