very long line but it's very progressive, didn't have to wait for a long time (or maybe I did) I have tried the garlic, plain, cheese, and sugar one, best one? sugar. if I rank it maybe it would be: 1. Sugar, 2. Plain, 3. Cheese, 4. Garlic. to be detail, the sugar one has cream inside, the cream was very light and airy, and it's not oily nor stick around your mouth, the cream itself wasn't that sweet, because they top it off with sugar, it would be overwhelmingly sweet if the cream itself was already sweet. but if you want something that's buttery, this is not it, but this one is surely nice, my favorite so far. the plain one, idk it's not impressive for me :'( it was rather dry for me, and kinda hard, but I put it second because I hate the cheese and the garlic one. this is just my OPINION, the cheese was too overwhelming and salty, I'm not a big fan of too much toppings soo, it was rather nauseating for me, I couldn't finish 1 in 1 sitting. the garlic one, I just simply hate garlic, I tried my sister's, and it was sweet okay, so it's weird, and again, it's not buttery enough for me, it was a bit dry and tough. food aside, I love the place, it's very cozy and has a nice ambience, love the music they're playing :DD

Worth Every Minute of the Wait in Blok M! If you want to try Little Salt Bread in Blok M, arrive early! The long queue already starts forming by 9:30 AM, even though the shop doesn't open until 10:00 AM. It is absolutely worth the wait, though. The salt bread is perfection, crispy on the outside, while remaining incredibly soft, airy, and beautifully buttery on the inside. The balance of rich butter and sea salt is spot on, especially when eaten warm. A must-visit spot in the neighborhood if you don't mind the morning line!

My go-to for saltbread lovers. Their OG & cheese are always my favourite. Great taste, fair size, fair price. A quick note tho : If you're going to visit them exactly at 10 AM, you will need to "war" with the existing customer that has come earlier before the store open. Hope this hiccup could be solved, as the traffic of the people queueing in front of the store has a first come first serve system, has resulting to an unecessary drama of lane cutting.

Tried Little Salt Bread, the salt bread everyone has been bragging about, mengikuti saran temanku untuk mencoba Cheese and i definitely did not come home disappointed. the bread was soft, buttery, slightly salty, and the GENEROUUUUS cheese made it even better & the price was also very affordable, i highly recommend eating it while it’s still warm 👍🏽👍🏽🌟 antriannya cukuuuup panjaaaaang dan cuacanya hangat ya.. ☀️(understandable aku dateng weekend) but the staff were very kind and thoughtful, they gave us umbrellas 🌡️🌂 and cold water 🧊🫗while waiting, which I really appreciated 🌟🤩👍🏽 great service and definitely worth trying!

I would gently suggest avoiding a weekend visit, as the queue can be rather formidable. Fortunately, when I stopped by Blok M recently, the line was quite manageable and the experience far more pleasant. Unable to decide on just one, I opted to try all seven varieties purely in the spirit of thoroughness. Of the selection, four stood out to me: Cheese, Kinako, Truffle Egg, and Sugar Salt Bread. The Kinako was beautifully balanced, with the savory depth of butter complemented by a subtle bittersweet note from the chocolate powder. Quite refined. The Truffle Egg was, in my view, the highlight. It was remarkably well executed, with no overwhelming egg aroma and no heaviness from the mayonnaise. Everything felt harmonious and thoughtfully composed. Easily the most memorable of the lot. Both the Sugar Salt and Cheese versions achieved that lovely equilibrium between sweet and savory, without one overpowering the other. Meanwhile, The Salt Bread Kaya was pleasant, though I had anticipated a more generous layer of kaya. It leaned more toward melted butter than the richness of the spread itself. With a better balance of filling, it could have been exceptional. The Garlic variety was not quite to my taste. The garlic carried a slightly bitter finish, perhaps from being slightly over toasted. As for the Plain, it was agreeable but unremarkable, perfectly serviceable though not particularly distinctive. Seating is quite limited. There are a few outdoor seats available, though during the day the heat can be rather intense. The concept appears to be primarily takeaway rather than a place for lingering or a leisurely dine in moment, which is perfectly fine as long as one arrives with that expectation. For larger purchases, a proper box would be most appreciated. A paper bag alone offers little protection, and the softer varieties tend to compress, resulting in fillings melting into the packaging. A small detail, perhaps, but one that would elevate the overall experience. Overall, a charming concept with several standout offerings, best enjoyed at a quieter hour and taken home to be savored comfortably.
