This is lowkey my favorite lapo in the Kuliner Toba section of Blok M. The goreng was good, the saksang was good, the panggang was good, the panggang karo was also good, and their ayam napinadar was also really good. At this point you can get all these goodness from this place ALONE. The complementary soup was also really delicious and savory, such a perfection. And don't get me started on the both the sambel ijo and andaliman. UGH lowkey my favorite lapo ever.
View on GoogleI had dinner here, choosing the package with 2 types of pork dishes, grilled pork and pork in sweet soy sauce. Soup was good and both pork dishes were okay. Dip them in sambal for added kick. IDR 50K for this satisfying and filling meal, I'd say it was worth it. Service was unenthusiastic though.
View on Googlebabi panggang karo was really good!!! super tasty and not greasy. the ketumbar (coriander) added a nice texture to the pork, and there was no weird pork smell at all. fair portions. the price is cheap, like IDR 40k for nasi, kuah, sayur daun singkong tumbuk, lauk babi, and teh tawar. the people working there were friendly, and when i peeked into the kitchen, it looked really clean. service was very quick as well. my brother orders from here a lot and says the arsik is a must order too.
View on GoogleLocated in Pujasera Blok J, Blok M Square. There are many kind of Indonesian food stall, and we could find Lapo "Traditional Bataknese Cuisine Restaurant" right after you going down straight to Pujasera as you entering Kuliner Toba stall. This Lapo Ni Tondongta serves many of Bataknese cuisines. We've tried their saksang - cooked pork with spices, Smoky pork (Babi Panggang) and Babi Kecap serve along with a good quality rice. You could reserve for Badak - the traditional carbonate water it always match with bataknese foodies. One thing need to be improve from this lapo, the "Babi Kecap" was not really well at the moment, it was not really fresh. Still edible, but not really enjoy it. But we were satisfied as we eat well and we'll get good music or request any song from the local musician with their golden voice. A good food and good place to visit with your friends family and relatives.
View on GoogleThe group/family handling this Lapo is very friendly and helpful. They recommended the Fried version (Goreng B2), which tasted more seasoned & fatty than the Grilled version (Panggang B2). I like my good old BPK so I think I'll stick to the Grilled Pork. Pro tip: just get a half portion of rice - this place stacks up on it so you need to ask for half to make the portion palatable.
