If you're in the Melawai area, I highly recommend checking out the cafes right across from Gramedia. It's a nice place to hangout with a great urban vibe. Ambience very nice and lively, especially in the evening. Definitely a fit to smoke place with plenty of outdoor seating. Also very affordable prices for both coffee and snacks. How to find this place? Super easy to find, situated between Favehotel and the main Blok M Square. entrance.

Es Kopi Tarik in the sunny afternoon was so great and refreshing. Kopi Oey famous with its authentic hawker style, with traditional Kopi Tarik. Don't forget to order Pisang goreng and Singkong Sambal Roa. The place integrated with Fave Hotel Melawai. Makes it a complete one stop place to hang out with loved ones

Came here because i watch a youtube video from one of my favourite local youtuber just a week after, also because i stay at the fave hotel next door. The vibe is calm and relax even its in the middle of the block m area, one of the bussiest block in Jakarta. Decoration, food and drink is on point, you should try when you are nearby

came to this restaurant at lunch time. the restaurant atmosphere is quite pleasant, like going back to the past. ordered Hainanese chicken rice which tasted so-so and duck rice which came quite late with small pieces of duck and its taste was so-so. fortunately helped by the teh tarik drink which was quite delicious. for the service was not fast enough, we asked for help to clean the table that we would use, but it was not cleaned. hopefully the service and taste of the food can be improved further.

The place itself is clean and spacious. But don't expect to get an air conditioned room here. Simply designed to be authentic old kopi tiam. Price is okay. Snack is so-so, but the teh tarik is great. The interior inside also designed as authentic as possible. Unique.
