it was my first time here because a friend recommended it and said it was a hidden gem. turns out, she wasn’t lying at all. the place is super cozy and perfect for catching up with friends. there are different seating options too. you can sit by the bar or in the sunken floor seating, which is really comfortable. they also have private rooms with an MC. for the food, i only ordered the chicken katsu and gohan set, but honestly, both were so good. it tasted different from most japanese restaurants i’ve tried. the miso tofu soup was amazing too. we also tried the self-service takoyaki, which was such a fun experience. for around 90k, you get 20 pieces, so it’s definitely filling. plus, the ocha comes with free refills! the wine was good as well, but i’d love to see more varieties in the future, especially white wine. it would also be great if they added more dessert options like soufflé or daifuku. if i had one suggestion, it would be to make the AC a bit cooler since it gets quite warm when the place is full. other than that, the atmosphere is really cozy and makes you want to stay longer. just a heads-up: they’re cashless only. i’ll definitely be coming back!

Ambience: The place was good, and we got the private room which was really nice for a dinner night with friends. We had the room for 2 hours, just enough for dining and chatting. Food: 1. Salmon Chasuke: it was the highlight of all the meal. Rice topped with fresh slices of Salmon in a bowl, complemented by a kettle of warm broth that you can pour into your salmon rice bowl. The meal was simple, warm, and comforting. 2. Takoyaki: the dough was nice and soft, the octopus filling was generous, and it was overall very flavorful. 3. Smoky bratwurst and Cedar. Both were pork bratwurst, but Cedar had cheese in it so it is just slightly saltier. It was both really smoky, tasty, and juicy. Always came back for these. 4. Scrambled egg. I forgot what this was called in the menu but it was really tasty, quite salty, and smelled really good 5. Chicken Karage: it was alright, a bit too much flour 6. Ebitama: taste was a bit off and bland, size was big but contained of too much flour 7. Strawberry Sando: it was served frozen so I had to wait for like 10 minutes but most part was still frozen and icy which took away the creamy texture it was supposed to have. Service: The staff was nice and helpful since the booking on WhatsApp upto our dinner night. We were in the private room but they were very responsive every time we tried to call them with the bell.

Nice taste of Japanese food. The okonomiyaki is lack of veggie for me. Its to much of flour. The karage is nice with crispy at outside and moist inside.
