If you love fresh raw fish, Gyomo is definitely a place you should try. Every dish we ordered tasted incredibly fresh, high-quality, and premium. You can really tell they pay attention to the ingredients, and everything was beautifully presented. It's one of those places where you can truly appreciate the quality of Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere was another highlight for me. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, and the tables were spaced far enough apart that it felt comfortable and private. It honestly gave me a fine dining vibe without feeling too formal. One of my favorite parts was sitting at the counter and watching the chefs prepare every dish right in front of us. Seeing the precision and care that goes into each plate made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. I was really tempted to order the unagi because it looked so good, but it was a little out of my budget this time. 😂 Definitely saving that for my next visit! Overall, if you're looking for a premium Japanese dining experience with excellent seafood, a relaxed atmosphere, and great service, Gyomo is absolutely worth checking out. I'd happily come back to explore more of their menu. 🍣✨

First time stumbling into this place after wandering around Blok M with absolutely zero expectations… and wow, what a surprise! ✨ The vibe is incredibly cozy, with a comfortable bar and plenty of seating that makes you want to stay longer. Every dish on the menu looked so tempting, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Since Its breakfasting, I ordered two dishes—but they totally stole the show. The Carpaccio Baked Lemon was fresh, bright, and packed with flavor, while the Kembung Katsu Don was hands down the star of the meal. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and here’s the best part—you won’t notice any fishy taste at all, even if you’re not usually a fan of mackerel. Definitely one of those hidden gems that’s worth coming back to. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and excellent value. Can’t wait to try more from the menu next time! 🍽️✨

Third time here! My fave fish restaurant so far. I always recommend my friends who want to eat at blok m. I think the ramen menu is really good! Kushiyaki also must try. Also maguro butter rice was good! The sushi also fresh!!

Really good fish donburi here. Tried their iwak dry aged chiraizhisushi. With 100k for a donburi, my expectation was high and Gyomo met it. It's a very interesting donburi where I can eat various sashimi with different texture. The dry aged tuna with a more intense flavor and rubbery texture paired pretty well with the other toppings such as white fishes, shrimp, unagi, and tamagoyaki. Such a fun bowl! But what actually blew my mind was their Kembung Katsu Don. Crispy, savory, and paired with the sauce that holds a strong flavor, it was a bowl that gives the biggest impression. Who knows an ikan kembung can be as delicious? I'm honestly impressed. Their chiraizhisushi was almost like "well of course with this price it must be delicious", but than Ikan Kembung Katsu exceed my expectations. I can see myself coming there another time just to get this bowl instead of chiraizhisushi.

We had a really great meal @gyomofishouse such a unique concept. They serve Indonesian fish dishes with a Japanese twist, and it was surprisingly sooo good. We ordered the Garlic Shimeji Oyster, Akami Tataki dry-aged, Hohoniku Don (the tuna cheek was delicious and tender though we weren’t really a fan of the soy souce), and the Otoro Paitan Ramen (super good and flavorful not your usual ramen because it uses a fish-based so the taste is unique with a slight fishy hint) For drinks, we had the Yuzu Malt, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal. We absolutely loved the ambiance it’s such a perfect place for dinner. The fish and oysters were cooked perfectly, fresh, and full of flavor. We’ll definitely come back whenever we’re in the mood for fish but want something beyond the usual seafood experience.
