Had my first Indonesian food experience here 🇮🇩, and it was definitely memorable. The place had a very local and authentic atmosphere, which made the experience even better. Dining alongside locals gave it a more immersive feel, like I was really getting a glimpse of everyday life there 🏙️ The owner of the stall I ate at was very kind and welcoming 😊, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. As for the food, the chicken was a bit dry and slightly tough, but still flavorful 🍗 The sauce was spicy and delicious 🌶️, which really helped elevate the dish. The price was reasonable as well 💸, making it a good value for the experience. Overall, a great first introduction to Indonesian cuisine ✨, and I’m glad I got to experience it in such a local setting.
View on GoogleFrom my point of view, Blok M Square is a big place with many things to explore. The mall has many sections, shops, and choices, so it can be interesting for people who like to walk around and look for different items. However, I personally feel the place is quite messy and not very easy to navigate. Because the area is big, clearer directions, better organisation, and more helpful guidance would make the experience much better, especially for visitors who are not familiar with the place. I noticed there were a few officers around, but some of them were not very helpful when we needed assistance. Maybe they were busy or maybe I misunderstood, but as foreigners, we felt a bit uncomfortable because we did not feel properly guided or welcomed. For a place that receives many types of visitors, helpful staff and clear directions are very important. A simple polite response, friendly attitude, or better assistance can make tourists and first-time visitors feel more confident. Overall, Blok M Square is a big place with many things to see, but the area feels too messy and the staff assistance can be improved. I hope visitors, including foreigners, can be treated more warmly and guided better in the future.
View on GoogleA great place to explore if you enjoy photography and street vibes. Plenty of unique corners, interesting lighting, and a nostalgic atmosphere, especially in the evening. There are also many food options nearby, making it a nice spot to spend a few hours.
View on GoogleA great spot for food lovers and shopping enthusiasts. Lots of dining options, local snacks, and various shops all in one place. A lively atmosphere and definitely worth visiting
View on GoogleI grew in this neighborhood, my high school was in this area. And a few years later I had a job here too. So many memories, and it was very sad when I saw Blok M so empty after pandemic. But now, it becomes like it used to be. So many viral food and places here. If you visit Jakarta, you must go to Blok M. You can find food, coffee, clothes and So much more.
