I visited Yoiko Ramen back in the early 2020s, when Japanese ramen spots were popping up all over Jakarta. Among the many new ramen restaurants at the time, Yoiko caught my attention with its cozy atmosphere and authentic Japanese vibes. The first thing I noticed was the interior. The restaurant has a warm Japanese izakaya-inspired design with wooden furnishings and soft lighting, making it feel like a small neighborhood ramen shop in Japan. I ordered the Goma Tonkotsu Ramen—a salty pork bone broth ramen with rich goma (sesame) sauce. As someone who usually gravitates toward lighter ramen broths, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it's a tonkotsu, the broth wasn't overwhelmingly rich or greasy. The sesame added a fragrant, nutty aroma that blended beautifully with the creamy pork broth, making every sip flavorful without feeling too heavy. The noodles had a nice chewy texture, and the toppings complemented the bowl well. It wasn't the kind of ramen that instantly became my all-time favorite, but it was definitely a comforting bowl that I'd happily order again. Overall, Yoiko Ramen is a solid choice if you're looking for a cozy Japanese dining experience. Between the authentic izakaya atmosphere and the well-balanced Goma Tonkotsu Ramen, it's a place I'd gladly revisit whenever I'm craving ramen. It may not be the flashiest ramen shop in Jakarta, but it's one of those places that quietly delivers a satisfying bowl every time

View on GoogleWe tried so many ramen in Jakarta and this one is so special! Don't mind the place, it's quite odd but the food is great! Must try the Yoiko ramen, if you prefer a light hearty ramen this one to go. The seafood broth with garlic infused. The noodle texture is also great Second one favorite the Goma Ramen, tonkatsu thicker broth with sesame infused... Similar the one we ate in China, kinda odd but yesss its still good. Karage is one the best in Jakarta. The chicken is big, crispy and the inside is so tender. Gyoza is also great, typical small juicy gyoza. The potato salad alsoo good appetizer. Tonkatsu Ramen itself is more lighter broth. The beef curry is also good, quite tasteful but not that thick
View on GoogleThe ramen was so-so, but they have an incredibly delicious chicken nanban!!! Chicken nanban is always the reason I keep coming back 😆 The service was good, friendly, and responsive. The atmosphere was also comfortable. I’d be okay spending hours there~
