Winglok is a great place to visit when you're craving Chinese food with generous portions and comforting flavors. The menu offers plenty of options, making it easy to find something for everyone, whether you're dining with family, friends, or a larger group. What I enjoyed most was how flavorful the dishes were. Everything tasted freshly made, well-seasoned, and satisfying without being overly heavy. The portions were also quite generous, making them perfect for sharing family-style. It's one of those restaurants where ordering several dishes for the table is definitely the way to go. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating available. Even during busy hours, it still felt relatively comfortable. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, making it a great choice for gatherings, celebrations, or simply enjoying a meal together. Service was efficient, and the food arrived surprisingly quickly considering the number of dishes we ordered. The prices felt reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food, which made the overall experience even better. Overall, Winglok is a solid choice if you're looking for delicious Chinese food, generous portions, and a comfortable dining atmosphere. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes from the menu! 🥢✨
View on GoogleI asked for a surprise birthday cake; yes, I was asking 2 hours before the surprise, yet it didn't arrive, so disappointing. But overall, the food is okay. The service isn't even communicating about this; not acceptable, though. They say, “We are busy, straight”. The cake wrapping hasn't even been opened, bruh; they give us the bag untouched, which is pretty sad. I did ask for help opening it as well, but at least tell us if you can't, not us asking 3 times, bro. You can see the photo; we're already finished with the food. Not recommended for a surprise party here 😅😅
View on GoogleCame here on Saturday at 4pm at it wasn’t that busy, plenty of seats, even the smoking area is empty. Gotta give a shoutout to every staff because their service is really good. Fresh ingredients and good taste, unfortunately the hakau skin is a bit tough or maybe because it wasn’t steamed enough? Chicken porridge is good, the chicken is juicy yet very well balanced between sweet and savory. Porridge base is just plain but however it’s good, just don’t expect it to be amazing. The non-smoking area is just too crowded because you can hear anything going on at the kitchen and the loud music , my alternative is the smoking area which is quite serene.
View on Googlefirst time trying Winglok, i haven't even tried the food yet cause i literally just ordered my food, but i'm already dissapointed with the service all bcs of the waiting list. it was 4 of us, one of my friends and i went to the nearest convenience store for a few minutes while my other 2 friends waited at the restaurant. when we got back we asked the staff if the waiting list under x name has been called, and she answered "be patience please, still on queue" while our other two friends were nowhere to be found, after waiting for 20 minutes, the staff realized her mistake and told us that the waiting list under x name was already called and our 2 friends are upstairs. like.... damn... we tried to confirm nicely and the staff answered with a "stop asking question, and just wait for your turn"-face and we ended up waiting for 20 minutes for nothing??? please do better next time. thank you.
View on GoogleEven though I prefer this branch rather than Antasari’s, the food tasted a little bit different than Antasari’s. I ordered my usuals, Mie Lebar Polos and Lumpia Steam Ayam. Mie Lebar doesn’t taste as good as Antasari’s (a bit plain). I came here for lunch at a Saturday, when it is not too crowded, but the service quite sucks when I requested for utensils and one waitress just ignored me. Please improve the taste and service, because the ambience of this branch is cozier than Antasari’s.
