Delicious food and great ambience, but I feel like the service could be improved. My favorite meal was the Salmon Ochazuke. Unfortunately, my meal was not served with any eating utensils, which I initially did not mind, until it took a long time just for the waiter to get back with it after I asked. I also ordered Iced Lychee Tea along with my lunch, but I was 3/4 into finishing my meal when they finally served the drink (I was so thirsty and ended up asking for the drink of the person who was eating with me here). Those things aside, still a great place to dine and hang.
View on GoogleA very nice place just to sit down, chill, and work. They have a good number of electrical outlets for your phones and laptops. Quite a large selection of food and beverages as well. I’ve always enjoyed their coffee. The staff are very friendly and will greet you upon entry. Teru’s toilets are clean and there is a decently-sized prayer room (musalla), so Muslims do not have to worry when visiting.
View on GoogleBeautiful Spot with a Few Outdoor Nuisances Teru Cafe is a lovely spot located near the Taman Gandaria area. The cafe features both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Inside, the ambiance is comfortable, and they clearly paid attention to detail—even the toilet design is exceptionally nice and aesthetic! As for parking, the space is quite spacious, though maneuvering a larger car might be a little tricky. My only real complaint is the outdoor area; there were quite a few flies and mosquitoes, which made sitting outside a bit uncomfortable. If you plan to visit, I highly recommend grabbing a spot indoors instead!
View on GoogleTry it on ! TERU in South Jakarta is honestly one of those spots that just hits right from the moment you walk in. The place has a sleek, modern Japanese-inspired vibe — dim lighting, clean lines, and a cozy atmosphere that feels both intimate and kinda upscale. Perfect for a chill dinner or even a casual date night. Food-wise, they really deliver. The flavors are bold but still refined, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and well thought out. I tried a few dishes and everything came out looking super aesthetic and tasting just as good. It’s the kind of place where you actually enjoy every bite, not just eat for the sake of it. Service is smooth and attentive without being too much, which makes the whole experience feel effortless. Price-wise, yeah it’s a bit on the higher side, but still worth it for the quality you’re getting. If you go, you definitely gotta try their truffle gyudon — that one’s a total crowd favorite and absolutely worth it.
View on GoogleWe went here on weekday's (Wednesday) ifthar, and finding out two small paper cups of green, selasih syrup upon sitting. It's not sweet. Ordered hamburg don (very much recommended but if you dont like sweet things, this is not for you) and unagi yakimeshi (the unagi is smoky and tender, the pieces however not much). The price is also good (350 for 2 people, with drinks and one side menu) and the place is reachable via tije and mrt (it's recommended to just walk from mrt asean as the rush hour made the road congested). The gyoza is not bad, though not standing out. The booking process is simple, simply go to their instagram and click the link on their bio. You'll be asked for DP (50 thousand rupiah per pax) and your chosen menus, so it'll be available shortly after you arrive. Thank you Kak Hindri!
