Had breakfast here. Lontong sayur rendang is mouth watering and super gooood. homey atmosphere and you only wait for the food less than 10 mins. Staffs are very attentive. Overall such a great place to hv your breakfast quick n yummy

Straits Coffee Eatery at Kyai Maha is a modern Peranakan-style kopitiam that still retains some traditional elements in its interior. The place feels cool and relaxing, with a small pond and good air circulation. The only downside is the limited parking space. The food is really good. The lontong sayur especially has a distinctly Malay taste and character. The coffee and teh tarik are also pretty much what you would expect from a typical Peranakan kopitiam. Overall, a great spot and definitely worth coming back to. Top — would happily revisit.

Now I know why this place is always crowded. The food was amazing and really hit the spot. The Char Kway Teow is my favorite. The laksa was also nice, but the chicken chop was a bit too batter-heavy for me. Overall, it was good. There are plenty of seating options, both indoor and outdoor. The service is good, and the playlist is okay too.

Another favorite spot for a cozy meal 🤍 Straits Kyai Maja never disappoints! The place is incredibly cozy and comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, and they have such a great variety of menu options. My favorite today was the curry noodles—they were so flavorful, rich, and comforting. Honestly, everything was just on point. Great food, cozy ambience, and an overall amazing dining experience. Definitely one of my go-to places!

place is quite spacious and comfy, they have sofa that's quite comfortable for sitting long.. they also have indoor and semi outdoor.. parking lot maybe can cater up to 6-8 cars, the rate is flat 15k with the vallet service service was okay, they provide free infused water.. but one of the waiter when i asked whether i can ask for the water, she only said yes wo coming back and bring the water to me 😅 so i have to asked the second time.. now about the food.. price wise just fine a little bit pricey for the quality of the food and also the portion.. avocado juice was fine, but expected to be more creamy.. around 50k-ish after tax.. ordered chicken chop and felt so wrong, first the meat was very thin, full of flour that's also not the best.. idk what kind of flour they use but it's not crunchy.. and i think they didn't cook it properly, somewhat i felt that the meat is still a bit raw so i couldn't eat it.. and even the chicken skin under the flour is still a bit transparent and pale 😞 so disappointed for the price of the food, they should be serve a better food.. also asking for a chili sauce because they don't provide it on the table.. quite shocked when it came coz it's so little until i need to request some more.. until i need to double check how much this restaurant is rated.. turned out so good.. maybe it's just me ordered food that's not their specialty or it's just a bad day for me 😂
