One of the best soto kudus I had ever eaten in JKT ! Enak . The soup are deliciously cooked. Must try their soto with rice & pegedil & satay kerang . Try their brain omelette. Service was fast. The meals were served piping hot ! Price are local price. This is another local eatery .

Comfortable place with a nice atmosphere, but the service needs improvement. The food was okay, I ordered soto ayam, but it had too much skin and not enough meat. Also, there was an extra charge on the bill for something I didn’t order, which was disappointing.

Portion is too small and too pricey. Too much bean sprouts. Soto taste is away to average. Sate kerang (scallop satay) is too sweet. They dont serve hot drink in ppkm.

We visited this restaurant after many years ago, about 20 years ago. We found that the waynof ordering wast different from we remembered it. We could pick the side dish on the plates on the table, but now we have to order first. The taste of the nasi pindang (beef dark soup like rawon), nasi soto kudus, tahu bacem and bakwan jagung was still good as in our memory. The place now is not shiny and the guests were not many, and many of them were elderly people. Is it going to last?

Recommended local food from Central Java. Popular among local people in Jakarta. Food to try: Soto Kudus Blok for sure, Nasi Rames & Lumpia Semarang Goreng. Not recommended: fried stuffs & Sate Puyuh because those 2 plates have moved around before you come and don't look appetizing. This place is ok just to try to kill your curiosity :)
