Had a delicious meal at Pondok Ikan Bakar Ujung Pandang. Tried the grilled fish with two flavors, Karappe and Gurih. Both were delicious, flavorful, and well-seasoned, with a distinct Indonesian taste. The fish was fresh and perfectly grilled. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy Indonesian grilled fish!

I’ve ended up coming back to Pondok Ikan Bakar Ujung Pandang - Gandaria more than once, and it’s easy to see why. The seafood feels fresh, and I especially liked the fish, shrimp, and vegetables. It’s the kind of spot that keeps things simple but satisfying, and for me that makes it worth returning to.

We ordered: Fresh coconut in a glass - Kelapa Gelas Boiled red clams - Kerang Dara rebus Stir fried water spinach in Chilli - Kangkung cah terasi Deep fried squid - Cumi goreng tepung Deep fried boxfish - Kudu-kudu goreng tepung Grilled Leatherjacket fish in 2 kinds of seasonings on top : parape & rica rica - Sukang bumbu bakar dua rasa: parape manis gurih, rica rica pedas gurih Grilled tiger prawn - Udang Pancet Bakar Before our order arrived, we're served 3 kinds of sambals. All the food were incredibly delicious. The service was great and quick, too. Highly recommended when you're into seafood.

Food taste delicious and they are really generous with spices. Parking area is not that spacious but worth to visit. The seafood are fresh. You can tell that the food worth the price since it's little bit pricey. Overall Recommended!!

We had an early dinner — or maybe a very late lunch (?) — here, and it turned out to be a great choice! We tried the Ikan Kudu-Kudu with salted egg sauce, and it was perfectly delicious. The fish was soft and tender inside, with a light, crispy coating from the deep-fried batter. The salted egg sauce complemented the fish beautifully, making every bite rich and flavorful. 🐟💛 We also ordered the Kepiting Rica-Rica, which surprisingly had a slightly sweet taste with a hint of spiciness. The crab was super fresh — we could tell because it was so easy to crack open, and the meat was naturally sweet and juicy. 🦀✨ They also serve live seafood, so freshness is guaranteed. Definitely a great place for those who love flavorful seafood dishes! 🌶️🍴
