Had dinner at Oppa Dosirak before watching a movie at XXI, Plaza Blok M. It’s on the 6th floor, beside Solaria and Ichiban Sushi. Nice spot if you’re craving for Korean food instead of the usual Indo or Japanese.
View on GoogleWith no doubt I would give this place 5 stars! They have reasonable price for such good foods. I've always gone back to this place whenever I'm around. Dosirak ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've tried their smoked duck, beef gyeopsal (?), and bulgogi. Starting from IDR 55.000 you can get 3 banchans, the main dish, and soup! Jjampong ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Portion wise, it's huge. You can share it with 2 - 3 people. It tastes mildly spicy, so you can enjoy it without pain. In a bowl of jjampong you will get glass noodle, some seashell, squid, and shrimp. It's a perfect dish to have when you want something spicy but don't want it to be painfully spicy. Sundubu Jjigae ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Again, their soup/stew portion is huge I would say. Because you can share it with your friends! It's such a calming food with a kick of spice. It is served in a dolsot so it keeps the temperature high for a long time. It won't run cold until you finish your meal. They serve it with rice and kimchi as well. This isn't the right meal for you if you don't really like the type of thick textured soup. Seollongtang ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'M IN LOOOOOOVE WITH THEIR SEOLOONGTANG! They give generous amount of beef in their soup. It's the perfect rainy day meal. It's warm, the soup is not too thick, it's meaty. It is also served in a dolsot, so don't worry about your meal getting cold. Curry Rice with Burger Patty ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't know whether they are trying to sell things or they want to do a charity because their portion is really big with such an affordable price. This menu is the right meal for you if you are starving and want to eat something fulfilling. The curry is a tad bit in the sweeter side tho. But the chicken...the burger patty everybody...is tHicccKKkkK. Oh, you get a bowl of soup! It is included in the menu. Kimbab ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Taste just like regular kimbab for me. But the portion is a good size for you to share. It is served with soy souce! Oksusu Cha/Sweet Tea ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They only have 2 options for the beverage. But I don't mind because it's free refill! I think this kind of drink is the perfect combination with Korean food because most of them are quite greasy. Would definitely come back here and try their other menu.
View on GoogleSecond time here. The first time has Jjangmyeon and it was good. Now had Beef Jjangpong and it is also good too 🥰 The portion is worth the price. The spices are thick and with corn tea it balances the heaviness. The only downside is the place itself is not very pleasing (but clean!). Probably why it was not as crowded as other tenants in the ever-crowded Blok M.
View on GoogleI really love the food, but it took a lot of time to be ready, made me question is this place fast food or not The sweet tea are great, corn tea tasted healthy and refreshing Got Mango Bingsoo for like Rp1 for following their IG and min 150k transaction, real soft, fresh and milky. Love it Their Japchae is filling and great too, their bentos are great also, tasty and crispy for the fried ones
View on GoogleUpon looking for bingsoo, I found this place on google and decided to give it a try. I'd like to order mango bingsoo but they were sold out, so I got fruit one instead. Additionally, I got rose tteokbokki but I noticed I only got half egg instead of one whole egg. Not sure if it's the server's fault or they cut down the portion. The food was pretty good, I like the rose sauce as it has a nice balance of sweet, savoury and creamy flavour. The bingsoo was huge and enough to share between 3-4 people. I'm also not sure why they put an ice cube on top of the bingsoo?!? Overall, this place offers good Korean food.
