The oysters here are phenomenal. It’s super sweet and fresh. Apparently the owner brings his seafood supply from local fishermen once a week, a true dedication to the food he serves. The price is also affordable, and servers were also friendly. Please support this business. They deserve all the love 🥹🙏🏻
View on GoogleThe place is a bit unique situated in what feels like used to be a dwelling, the floor is decorated with gravels which I have zero opinion about. The owner greeted us at the front, warm welcome with a bit of jest. We ordered medium seafood, which was okay at best. Don’t really understand the hype…. …until we ordered the ganjang gejang and the seawoo jang, it is without a doubt the best seafood menu item I ever tasted in Jakarta. 10/10 would go again They also gave is free strawberry ice cream, sweet!
View on GoogleHonestly, this is one of the most underrated Korean seafood spots I’ve ever tried. From the outside it looks pretty lowkey, but once you step in, the cozy and intimate vibe feels like you’ve discovered a place not many people know about. The seafood is really fresh and you can taste the quality, especially the oysters which are incredibly fresh. Everything is well seasoned with an authentic Korean touch, but still balanced so the natural flavors stand out. Even the side dishes are surprisingly good and refillable, which is always a plus. The owner is very humble, warm, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel even more personal. The service overall is friendly and quick, making everything even more enjoyable. It is a great spot if you are looking for somewhere quiet, not too crowded, but still worth it in terms of taste and quality. This place deserves more attention. I will definitely come back.
View on Googlebaited by the high google review but a far cry . place has a unique concept but is very filthy. Fish tank for seafood is fithy which makes their yangnyeom rajungan smells like bad aquarium water! At least put some effort on the kalgusuk please ; literally tasted like water , dash of soy and cheap green mussels! was quite surprised by the fried chicken.. didnt know that fried drumstick can be this dry; probably due to the multiple slits they made while still frozen (dark spot on slits). Tasted like Kobe instant batter btw. only decent is ganjang gejang cos of the flavor of ginger. its very expensive for the quality imo. Overall good concept but very poorly execuated
View on GoogleThis restaurant really need more exposure!! It's located in a quite neighbourhood area within the crowd of Gandaria. Very delicious food, nice atmosphere, and kind-hearted, welcoming hosts is a nice combo to make our dinner perfect. Ordered yangnyeom gejang, grilled squid, and sundubu jjigae. Everything is very delicious! It's my first time tasting gejang and turn out I love it! The squid is also grilled perfectly, not chewy, accompanied with mushroom sauce (hope I'm not mistaken). The sundubu jjigae has quite 'thick' flavour. Probably adjusted to Indonesian taste who love 'strong' seasoning (alias medok). They also gave us crispy baby crab as banchan. How awesome is that!! 😍 At the end of our meal, the owner greets us warmly, asking about our meal and show us the tank where he kept the crabs. Surely I'll come again 🥰
