We tried the one called gultik solo 06. the broth is sweet and savory, lightly spiced but not quite as 'medok' as i expected it to be. We definitely needed the sambal to balance the dish. A perfect portion for a quick bite

I usually try the one near Hanamasa (gultik portal) coz it has the best satay, and the one sidefront plaza blok-m ,but everyone has their own preference.

While the taste, in my opinion, didn’t venture into the realm of extraordinary, it was undeniably good, boasting those familiar, comforting flavors. In conclusion, Gulai Tikungan thrives in its popularity and reasonable prices, though you might have to adjust your expectations regarding portion sizes. It’s a gem for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal amidst the bustling energy of the area.

Gultik (Gulai Tikungan) is a must-visit when in Jakarta! While the taste isn’t exceptionally delicious, the portions are quite small, so one serving is definitely not enough. They do offer a variety of satay, which is a nice addition. Unfortunately, the surrounding streets are quite dirty, with a lot of litter, so it’s best to focus on your food and not the scenery. Parking for cars can be a challenge, but it’s easy for motorbikes. On the bright side, they offer convenient QRIS payment options.

Famous and legendary nightly food in the centre of Jakarta city! A small amount for a portion of gulai. So you may need to add to one or two plates more haha. There are a lot of gulai booths all with same price. Just pick whichever you like. Fyi, it is a little difficult to park your vehicles cause it is located in sidewalk.
