⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for excellent croissants in Jakarta, Carpenter’s is definitely worth a visit. The space feels warm and inviting, with beautiful wood accents, high ceilings, and plenty of comfortable seating. It’s a great spot for breakfast, coffee, or even a casual meeting. The butter croissant was the highlight. Perfectly flaky on the outside, light and airy inside, with rich buttery layers that weren’t overly greasy. You can really taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. I also tried their signature CroEgg, a croissant shaped like an egg and filled with cream. I went with the vanilla flavor, and it was smooth, creamy, and just the right level of sweetness. The filling paired beautifully with the crispy pastry, making it a fun and unique take on a classic croissant. The bakery display is full of tempting pastries, and everything looked freshly baked. Service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere made me want to stay longer. Overall: * Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ * Butter Croissant: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ * CroEgg: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ * Overall Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must-visit for pastry lovers. Come early for the freshest selection, and don’t leave without trying both the classic butter croissant and the signature CroEgg. I’ll definitely be back.
View on GoogleFound a pastry place and I’m lovin it! Not too crowded, suitable for wfc. Tried out their okonomiyaki roll which was decent, but the pastry base is really good. The matcha usucha’s a bit watery but still ok for me. What i love about the place is how spacious it is and looking vintage & classy. Very comfortable for wfc or for some convos/gatherings with friends
View on GoogleThe place itself is really homey and comfortable. The interior has a warm, cozy vibe that makes it easy to sit back and relax for a while, which I liked more than anything else. I only had coffee while I was there — it was decent and did the job, though not particularly memorable. I also took some pastries to go. After reheating them at home, they still tasted pretty good and held their texture well, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it was a pleasant experience — not outstanding, but a nice, cozy spot if you’re nearby.
View on GoogleVisited during the Eid holiday, so it was pleasantly quiet and not crowded at all. We tried the coffee, Truffle Honey Croissant, and Egg Tart. Overall, everything was decent. The croissant and egg tart were enjoyable, though neither particularly stood out to me. The coffee was nice as well. One thing I did appreciate was the pricing. It felft quite reasonable, especially considering the area. Overall, a solid bakery that’s worth stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood.
View on GoogleLove this place aaaa! The croissant is sooo good, crispy outside, soft inside. All the things I tried were good. Definitely the best croissant in town! The ambiance is also very cozy. Highly recommended!
