A simple dinner with lots of food choices, displayed as a buffet that we can chose and mix the menu by ourselves

I think one good thing about Akasya is by being consistent, be it for their Indonesian food or their “more” International dishes. And also the place itself has that homey feel, and it’s suitable whether coming with friends or family. They have a wide selection of Indonesian dishes that can be paired with rice for that Nasi Campur style. If you’re a fan of omelet, be sure to get one as it is cook to order and it’s just so delicious. In a way it reminded me of Thai style omelet, which is fluffy with a bit of crunchy texture. It might be salty to be eaten alone, but perfect when paired with rice. Another highlight is their Gyutan Don which I always get, it’s sort of reminiscent of Menya Gyutan Don with a sweet & spicy sauce. The dish is originally spicy because they add slices of bird’s eye chili, but they can do without. Service is also quick which is always a plus point. Definitely will be coming back for more.

Good local Indonesian food. Home-cooked style. Clean and good air-conditioned restaurant. Very noisy because female office people were laughing & howling during our lunch time; the staffs didn't bother to cool them down.

Home cooking at its best This place, along with several other outlets, is famous for its home cooking style dishes. I have visited this place and also other outlets several times and never get disappointed with the dishes. Dishes are displayed and visitor can point the dish they want. If I may suggest, try their lidah cabe hijau (ox tongue with green chilies), my favorite dish. Other dishes are very good as well. During lunch time, do try to come earlier as it is often full and you may run out of your favorite dish(es) Very affordable, speedy service, great taste. The one in Ahmad Dahlan is equipped with good parking space.
