We were looking for Middle Eastern cuisine not far from Pondok Indah for dinner. We found this place: EATZ which occupies a shophouse unit in Radio Dalam, South Jakarta. For our meal we ordered Lamb Biryani plus extra pieces of chicken and some special bread, and some dips. In terms of taste, it was just ordinary and not too special. But the price per person for all of that was more than IDR 200K per person which was a bit too much for a restaurant like that. Plus, tea and Ummu Ali as dessert, which also tasted ordinary, all of it was almost IDR 300K per person.

Went for lunch with my mom & son. We ordered chicken biryani, beef shawarma , fish mandi & samosa. I had Chicken biryani. It was beautifully cooked & I loved it. My mom praised the Fish Mandi & so happy with her choice. My son really enjoyed beef shawarma. He said the meat was tasty, tender, juicy & easy to swallow. He even put on his journal the best shawarma he had when he was on holiday in Jakarta. Their samosa is on my “must have” list. Our lunch was beautiful wrapped with Moroccan Tea. The restaurant ambience was great. Their staffs were so friendly & sincere. Overall it was a fulfilled experience we had at Eatz. We definitely will visit Eatz again next time when we’re in Jakarta.

Generous portions and rich flavors. The lamb dishes stand out the most perfect for anyone craving bold spices and comforting flavors in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The worst hotel we have ever been to,especially on my birthday the food was cold and tasteless I had. Had to vomit after eating there the biriyani was bad they gave us the drinks before the food the vanilla milkshake tasted like drinking vanilla home fragrance and the lemon juice was a pure scam the juice was not even half the glass and then they gave the paratas which was salty and they gave a curry for the tasteless biriyani that was filled with oil, you could not even scoop the curry inside we even ordered butter chicken which came after we paid the bill. Overall scam and my poor driver had to also eat with us do not try this restaurant.

affordable eastern resto with authentic taste 👍🏼 located in radio dalam which quite near to the uptown (near to Pondok Indah Mall). place a little bit smaller than i thought on the 2nd floor for the eastern style sitting (floor sitting). waiters somewhat not really agile, i had to reply 3x my orders and the additional order come a little bit longer. however the taste is 8/10 delicious. tried the ramadhan package, kebab with big portion and umm ali is my most favorite.
