Kafe Gamat has always been a favorite spot for Mentari students. The place has a cozy and stylish decor, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas, plus a private room for small groups. The toilet is quite aesthetic and mostly clean. I tried their signature Kafe Gamat coffee, made with gula aren (palm sugar), and it tasted delicious. I also ordered the chicken katsu fried rice, which was decent. The atmosphere is great for studying or hanging out with friends, though it can get a bit crowded—especially after school hours. The staff are friendly and provide nice service. I spent around IDR 100K for a meal and a coffee, which felt reasonable for the portion and taste. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to relax or get some work done, and I’d gladly come back again when I’m nearby.

The staff were incredibly friendly and understanding. The place is spacious with indoor, outdoor, and VIP room options, plus a prayer room. The food was delicious, the indoor temperature was comfortable (not too cold), and the music volume was just right

Came here for light dinner, place is located near jln Antasari and accessible by car and bike, although parking space is quite limited. Staffs are friendly and place is spacious, has lots of indoor & outdoor seatings. They have live music at 7PM. Signature menu is their yamien, however they have tons of food, sweets, and snacks menu. Drink is also a lot in choice, price is moderately affordable. Wifi is very good and electrical plugs are ample, however the music sound can get too loud indoor.

I’ve been visiting Kafe Gamat Brawijaya regularly since 2023, and it’s an excellent place to work from a coffee shop. The Wi-Fi is fast, the food and drinks are great, and everything is reasonably priced. The atmosphere is quiet enough to focus, and the service is excellent. The staff are always friendly, making it a pleasure to come here.
