Had a Classic Smash Burger with a side of fries. Burger: Delicious but a little lacking in complexity. Most smash burgers follow a similar simple recipe but I somehow felt that the butter and beef flavours dominated today. I will probably return and ask for an extra topping of some lettuce and tomato. 🤣 The fries were a little on the soft side. Probably skip them on my next visit. Overall, still incredibly satisfying.

It was on our Burger spot list, so finally when we were around the area, we got a chance to try it… We were there on a Saturday lunch, but luckily the queue wasn’t bad… there was a waiting list on the wall where we can put our name on it… also to know how many queues… There were maybe 3groups with 3-4people before us… that sounds ok for a normal size resto, but this place is small… there’s only 1 row of seating with I think 8-10 people could sit and that’s it! Our name was called after 15mins, but only 2seats r available & there were 4 of us, so the chance of us sitting together was slim… Fortunately someone there told us that we could sit at the place next door (Kaneki) to eat the burger, as long as each of us order 1 thing from there, beside the mineral water… So we went there… and there was also a waiting list since it’s lunch time & we didn’t want to sit outside, it’s too hot! another 15mins waiting… but we could sit & wait inside with AC… Finally we got a table! So we ordered at Kaneki for drinks first, then we could order from Dan’s Burgers… it didn’t take that long for our food to arrive… All 4 of us got the Classic Smash Burger + 2 fries… and they were yummmm! The burger patty is juicy & the cheese is melted with good amount, so it wasn’t too overwhelming… only the fries r a bit dry, it wasn’t that fresh… but it didn’t ruin the good experience… The price is on the high side, all of that for around 400K… and for the parking we used valet (20K) only 8cars could park in front… If u don’t want to queue or sit next door, u could always order for takeaway, coz I saw some people did that…

I visited Dan's Burger for the first time because a friend wanted to check it out. Honestly, the waiting time was quite long, so be prepared to be patient. The place is pretty small, so I guess the turnover of customers isn't very fast. I'm not really a burger person, but I actually enjoyed it. After waiting for quite a while and getting really hungry, one burger was more than enough to fill me up. I ordered the Classic Smashburger with hand-cut fries. I can't remember which burger my friend ordered, but they added the Animal Fries, and they really enjoyed their meal too. Overall, we were both satisfied with the food (except for the long wait 😄). If I had to give it a rating, I'd say 7.5/10.

Came at around opening time, wait list wasn't too long (around 7 people). Takeaway can be done directly. You can also sit at the cafe beside by purchasing an item, 1 drink/food per person. Waited quite long for the takeaway, only bought 1 classic Smash Burger combo. Taste wise, it's juicy, a bit too juicy for me. It tastes just like what a classic smash burger would, but definitely doesn't taste like anything special. If I were to compare with similar smash burgers, I think Bobby's definitely has an advantage and has more depth of flavor. Ambience wise is great, feels very western and even a hint of Bandung Cafe vibes with how everything is laid out. Would come back to experience a dine-in meal.

Alright where do I start? Hey let's go eat after Bikram yoga, I've heard there's a famous burger joint called Dan's Burger. Sure let's go! We arrive and there seems to be a line system, you sign your name up and when your turn arrives they'll call your name 3x, then move on to next on line. We waited an hour, luckily there was a coffee shop nextdoor so we sat and waited patiently. Once it was our turn, they sat us at the front of the kitchen and we saw the burgers and fries being made. Having had a fair share of burgers from many places in my travels, I noticed they had some In'n'Out souvenirs, also they had animal style fries on the menu, got me thinking I wonder if it will taste similar? Lo and behold.... what an amazing burger, animal style fries AND milkshake! Holy moly, this place is good, and totally worth the 1 hour wait on an empty stomach after a tough exercise. I mean, if you are in Jakarta and looking for a proper burger this is the place. Also my favourite was the smash burger, very juicy and delicious!
