Tucked away from the typical commercial bustle, this spot has quickly established itself as a go-to sanctuary for those looking for high-quality brews paired with innovative, boundary-pushing food. During my visit, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try their specialty coffee infused with watermelon. It is a bold, experimental choice that definitely captures the "specialty" spirit of the shop. The flavor profile is unique and undeniably refreshing; however, a word of advice for future patrons: this brew is best enjoyed iced. While interesting when served hot, the cooling effect of the ice really helps to marry the delicate fruit notes with the coffee’s acidity, making it the perfect palate cleanser for a warm Jakarta morning. While the coffee hits the mark, the real star of the show is the Peanut Butter Brisket on Focaccia. I can confidently say this was the highlight of my meal—and perhaps one of the most creative menu items I’ve encountered recently. At first glance, the combination might sound unconventional, but it is a masterclass in flavor balancing. The natural sweetness of the creamy peanut butter acts as a perfect foil to the deep, savory, and tender beef brisket. The texture of the fatty, airy focaccia provides a sturdy but light vessel for the richness of the toppings. The real "kicker," however, is the addition of chili flakes, which cut through the richness with a subtle, warming spice that rounds out the entire dish.

36 Home Garage has a cozy and intimate neighborhood vibe that feels very personal and welcoming. It works well whether you want to hang out with friends or spend some quiet time on your own. We tried the magic and iced black. Both lean on the lighter side but are still really nice. Smooth, clean, and well balanced. Not the boldest coffee, but definitely enjoyable. The baked goods are the highlight here. Fresh, well made, and consistently praised, although some items can be a bit sweet or slightly dry. Still overall very solid. Service is friendly and relaxed, which adds to the comfort of the place. Parking is manageable and wait times are usually short. Overall, it is the kind of place you would easily come back to!

A concept cafe with warm cozy intimate atmosphere. ordered tropic blaze protein smoothie and cream cheese banana bread. the smoothie was so good, perfect balance of fresh creamy with a bit of sweetness. cream cheese banana could use some improvement (a bit too dry and too sweet for me). but atmosphere is a 💯 cant wait to visit the other branch in cilandak (36 home cult)

The coffee and focaccia is pretty damn awesome. A little hard to find seating but the vibes are good. The smell of the café is of a bakery baking fresh bread and good coffee. Great place. Try magic and kimchi focaccia - pairs super well.

The space feels incredibly personal and welcoming, and while the coffee is expertly brewed, the bagel is absolutely the best—a must-try with its perfect texture and delicious toppings. The stylish, industrial-chic 'garage' aesthetic makes it a great spot for those who appreciate a laid-back, community vibe and friendly service. It is definitely one of my favorite local spots for a high-quality bite in an intimate setting!
