The museum is quite old and very dusty. But we got to make our own kites and draw on them, so it was kinda fun! The ticket cost 25,000 rupiah. Before entering the kite collection area, we had to watch a video about kites. I think it was around 7 minutes long. After that, there was a tour guide who explained the kite collection. The explanation was quite short and not very detailed, but it was okay. We got to see kites from all around Indonesia and also from other countries. Afterwards, we got to make our own kite, and the tour guide helped us assemble them properly so they could actually fly! Once we finished, we could decorate them with the crayons they provided. Overall, it was a fun activity, but I really wish the museum would get more attention so it could be maintained properly 🙏❤️
View on GoogleThe museum is privately owned by someone who loved kites and beauty. It has several buildings and one main exhibit place. They have a personal guided tour during your visit. It begins with a video presentation about kite. You can also tried to color your own kite at the end of your museum tour.
View on GoogleGood place to visit, if you are in south jakarta must spare 2 hours for this place. An Art heaven.
View on GoogleA rare museum but very interesting. Kite museum displays a lot of beautiful and unique kites from all over the world and Indonesia. It inspires artistic tendencies and can drive children being creative.
View on GoogleAmazing collection with nice activity for kids at the end of the tour. I suggest to create more photo-op or installation that are more interactive for visitors and brighter light if possible.
