Today was really a bad experience. I ordered nasi ayam campur and told the waiter not to add their sambal, because I know their sambal is very, very spicy. I have eaten here before (maybe more than three times), but today they wrongly served me with sambal. The oily sambal made the entire dish spicy. Although they removed the sambal when I complained, they likely did not change the plate. So I could only eat their satay, which was not contaminated with the oily spicy sambal. I still love their satay (I usually order it). They need to improve their service.
View on GoogleWarung Nasi Bali Pak Gede is an authentic Bali street food which you can find and reach easily via local trasnportation. The place is not far from Haji Nawi MRT station. They have several options of Balinese mixed rice dish with satay, chicken skin, meat, etc. The price range starts from 26k to 50k. The extra dishes also vary from fried chicken skin, sayur lawar, etc. I would say their portion of mixed rice was really fulfilling and delicious. Although be cautious during lunch time on weekday and weekend because they do have a lot of customers and almost always packed. They have a quite small indoor simple dining area which can make a little uncomfortable during hectic time. Overall I enjoyed nasi Bali pak Gede very much!
View on GoogleWarung Bali Pak Gede is conveniently located just steps away from MRT Haji Nawi Station. Upon exiting the station, the restaurant is immediately visible, making it highly accessible and effortless to find. In terms of the cuisine, I found the flavors to be reasonably authentic. The dishes retain the character and depth one would expect from Balinese fare, while thoughtfully adjusting the ingredients to ensure they are halal. It is a considerate approach that allows a wider audience to enjoy the experience without compromising too much on identity. Seating is quite limited. I arrived slightly before lunchtime and was fortunate to find available seats. However, as noon approached, the restaurant filled rather quickly. The space can also feel somewhat warm, as ventilation relies mainly on electric fans. I do hope that, moving forward, greater attention will be given to overall cleanliness and upkeep. A few improvements in this area would significantly elevate the dining experience. Overall, it is a practical and accessible option for comforting Balinese cuisine in the area, particularly if one arrives outside peak hours.
View on GoogleGreat atmosphere and delicious Bali-style cuisine. Even though we arrived quite late, almost at closing time, the staff were still very friendly and welcoming. Some renovations are currently underway, but hopefully the place will look even better once everything is completed. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Bali-style cuisine on the South Jakarta side.
View on GoogleTried their nasi perut sapi..the sambal was indeed spicy.love their sate lilit. Unfortunately i was there while they're making the sambal - the spicy smell were everywhere, hurting eyes.. If u wanna try this place, find time when they re not cooking the sambal or get ready to make ur eyes watery
