Pagi Sore at Cilandak offers a comforting and familiar Padang dining experience, perfect for those craving homestyle Indonesian flavours in a relaxed setting. The overall dishes are decent and straightforward, delivering the kind of everyday comfort food that satisfies without being overly elaborate. What truly elevates the visit, however, is the attentive and friendly service. The staff are warm, welcoming, and consistently present, making sure guests feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Their genuine hospitality adds a pleasant touch that makes the experience more enjoyable. Be sure not to miss their fried chicken, beautifully seasoned with a crisp exterior and tender interior, as well as the bergedil, soft and flavourful with that perfect golden crust, both are definite highlights of the table. A reliable spot for simple Padang favourites paired with heartfelt service.
View on GoogleNice restaurant but can be super packed. This is a place that local, Tourists will come for a good meal. So do expect some wait but fast turnover. No worries that the staffs will clean it real fast and leave you a good table to enjoy the food. Eat and touch the ones you desired and don't ever touch it if no intention to eat that dish. Authentic and real good food Will I come back? Yes
View on GoogleI had a unique dining experience here at Pagi Sore. We were brought here by some of our colleagues in the Education Sector based in Jakarta. We were served all sorts of traditional Indonesian recipes on plates and bowls covered with plastic. We don't have to pay for everything, only the ones that we open. It's similar to a buffet, except that we only pay for the ones that we open. Most of the food has curry. My favorite was a large fish in yellow curry. I enjoyed the food even though most of them are really spicy.
View on GoogleDelicious Padang cuisine. Especially loved the prawns, done in 4 different ways. Food here seems to be more hygienic due to some of the dishes being wrapped in plastic cling film. Average cost per dinner IDR250k
View on GoogleThis experience at the restaurant was genuinely frustrating. I only ordered a small amount of food, yet i was left waiting for a long time with no clear explanation. What made it worse was how unfair the queue system felt. Other orders, especially larger ones, were repeatedly prioritized without any regard for the order of arrival. It gave the impression that customer fairness simply isn’t a concern here, which reflects very poorly on the management. When i raised a complaint in a calm and reasonable way, the response from the staff only made things worse. The attitude was defensive, unfriendly, and came across as disrespectful. Instead of handling the situation professionally, it felt like they were unwilling to accept any feedback at all. Overall, this wasn’t just about the long wait, it was about how customers are treated. If this kind of attitude continues, it’s no surprise customers would choose not to return. Please seriously work on improving the staff’s attitude.
