One of my favourite places for dimsum and Chinese comfort food. It’s strategically located in Fatmawati, has an indoor area that is cosy, quiet and comfortable despite being next to a main road. The food is 5 star quality but very affordable as most food items are below 50k. I especially enjoyed the Bao Signature Coffee (23k) which is a creamy ice coffee that’s quite refreshing. I also recommend the chicken porridge (32k) and the custard bao (27k) which were both really good. I tried the bakmi, while well made, was not really that special in my opinion and could do with some improvement to its flavour. Service was excellent since the staff were polite, very informative and were quick to help.

Their specialty is dim sum. I was quite surprise, their dim sum is very tasty. The wanton soup with 3 large mouthfull wontons and very tasty broth is very filling. Theynalso have rice and noodle menus to try for a hearthy meal. The servicenis slow though, it took a while to get my order to the table. You can enjoy a nice light dim sum lunch listening to deep house music and chill.

Baobao is a nice place to hang out & dine in, coffee butterscotch Latte is soooo creamy and taste good!
